Finally found a sensible thread on IF 😃
I personally haven't read many Indian authors, except R. K Narayan and Ruskin Bond, Khushwant Singh. So this time when I order books off of Amazon I'll make sure to add the ones suggested here.
I tried reading The God of Small Things a few years back, but somehow I never finished it. It couldn't keep me hooked. Lent it to a friend and never even bothered to take it back (which reminds me I should probably take it back 😆)
