Richa Chadha is always vocal about her thoughts and never shies away in putting out her opinions out in open. Richa, in an interview, was asked that as how Hollywood started a big operation when producer Harvey Weinstein was accused of abuse of women. Will something be done on the same lines in Bollywood?

Richa said, "I don't see that happening immediately given the culture of naming and shaming in our country. But when it happens, as it is happening in Hollywood right now, the entire power structure will change. People, who you see making feminist films and claiming to be progressive etc, they will all come tumbling down."

"We will lose a lot of heroes and several people will lose their lives' work, their legacies. I think that's what people will attack -- they can't attack them monetarily so they will go after the legacies. And it will happen, I would think in the next four-five years," added Richa. If someone suffers the loss of livelihood apart from emotional trauma, why will they come forward? In Hollywood,it is easier as actors get royalty, the actor explains why Bollywood has been quiet on the issue.

She also said, "It is very sexy to say, Bollywood, ye gire hue log. They do this for work, they are just a cesspool for parties and all. We have a very fertile imagination when it comes to Bollywood. But we refuse to look at others. The press has a role in this - they should not be jumping on a hashtag. The press should be consistently creating a support system for the victim to come forward to say this happened to me and he did that'. The judiciary has a role. I once met a rapist who said mereko to bus saat saal ki sazaa hogi and then I am back to a normal life', no remorse whatsoever."

Kangana Run out. Sexually harassed Hrithik via mails. Indecently Propositioned n sent lewd messages to Ranbir. Stalked Ajay during Rascals shoot. But she is a woman, so lets save her face by bringing in irrelevant stuff abt her background. As if that makes her criminal actions right.

Other than Kangana (who has evidences against her), i have heard of casting couch but dont think that comes under sexual harassment. Sexual Harassment basically means unwanted advances from one gender to another. Casting couch is Bribery n Corruption. And it can take place both ways. People are known to throw themselves at others for short cut and vice versa. Whether to accept or reject the bribe is a matter of Choice. So, am not quite sure if consensual sex comes under harassment. Bcoz in this case, BOTH are opportunists.

Where has Richa given names??? Why do people expect actors to give names???! They want work, they want to live. No-one should expect them to ruin their lives & the lives of their families for a cause that is going to DESTROY them all. Be practical.

Sexual harassment is unwanted advances by one gender to another. It can be a Man sending lewd messages to a uninterested woman or a woman sending the same to a uninterested man. It has nothing to do with Power but more to do with Lust. It can take place even in Non Working environment, even in ur neighborhood or even in ur home. Harassment is GENDER NEUTRAL.

What Arshi is doing to Hiten is also harassment of a kind. If a Man did the same, he wud hv been crucified.

Hope u know that if a Man sends obscene mails to a woman n she complains, a FIR will be filed against him for Stalking n Sexual Harassment the same day. If a Man asks for Physical relation with a woman, it comes under Sexual harassment. Kangana did all of that to both Hrithik n Ranbir. But since our Laws are Pro Woman, she is still roaming about arrogantly. If this issue was in West, she wud hv been arrested n sent for Therapy.

Casting couch is Bribery. Where a person either ask or give bribe (in this case their body) for career growth.That has nothing to do with this particular case.

I also want to say why People keep saying rubbish like Parveen Babi was boycotted for "exposing Big B". It is so easy to run such a narrative.

Anybody who followed the case and know how Paranoid Schizophrenia works through close quarters will see that Parveen was CLINICALLY DIAGNOSED. She had called Media for a press conference saying she has evidence against Big B plotting against her. And all she showed was her own Scribbles. She also suddenly claimed she has information about Sanjay Dutt and when HC asked her to come with evidence, she refused. Even HC sent some doctors and found her to be mentally unstable. She was on medications and mental illness is not a joke. Her neighbors had to admit her to hospital once bcoz she started screaming seeing Big B film on the TV.

I have a relative who has the same problem. She speaks brilliantly, cooks, treats guests well everything. Anybody who sees her will not know she has the illness. But, suddenly she has manic episodes where she gets into hallucinations n makes bizarre claims of Modi having installed a bug in her hand to spy on her. People with Paranoid Schizophrenia are prone to obsessive delusions n constantly feel as if the world is plotting against them. Watch the film A Beautiful Mind of Russell Crowe. That explains the mind of a Schizophrenia brilliantly.

If Big B was that influential, he wud hv made sure Rekha is boycotted too. But, he didnot. So, while people like to see Big stars fall, the reason shud be based on evidence and not fiction.
