Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt were seen
reprising Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt's
Tamma Tamma for Badrinath Ki Dulhania.
During that time we had seen them
matching steps with Madhuri as they
promoted the film.
Now, according to a report in a leading
daily, Varun and Madhuri will be seen
performing together on stage at an
upcoming awards show. A source told a
leading daily, "Both Madhuri and Varun are
good dancers and what better way to get
them together than to get the pair to
perform on Tamma Tamma."
On the work front, Varun is busy shooting
for his movie, October. The movie will be a
thriller and a love story and will mark the
Bollywood debut of Banita Sandhu.
In a recent interview, he had said, "I like
different genres, and as an actor; I want to
dabble in every genre. I can't explain how
different a love story October is going to be.
I don't know what genre to put this film in.
As a creative person, it's very unusual and
new. And you hear stories such as this one. I
am excited and thrilled about that."
On the work front, Madhuri will star
opposite Anil Kapoor for Indra Kumar's
comedy film Total Dhamaal. The film is the
third instalment for Dhamaal series.
Also, Madhuri is set to make her acting
debut in Marathi cinema but not under her
home banner.
When asked about the same, Madhuri had
stated to a leading daily, "Marathi cinema is
evolving beautifully and it makes me proud
to see such incredible stories come alive on
screen. I have received many scripts over the
years since I was always open to acting in
Marathi films. However, no script excited me
as much as this one. The moment I heard
the story, I knew that I wanted to be a part
of it."
