Let me begin by saying I had a hearty laugh after watching the episode today. Rikara and Shivika were just fab in their expressions and loved every flit of emotion across their face. Kudos to the director too for getting the perfect nuanced expression from the artistes.
I loved how Rikara got their moment and it was a treat to watch the romantic Om wooing his wary chiraiya who was 10 steps ahead of her Omkaraji. ROFL. Shrenu was just perfect here and was a true DQ. Let me rewind and go back to the babaji ka booti... the way Om enquired his pyaari biwi how she knew about it.. with Rudy echoing even he did not know had me in splits. It is so true what Gauri said, there are these posters of sex therapies/fly by night docs who advertise on posts, telephone/electric cables/any place where a small notice' can be glued... with a cure for a litany of sexual problems. I have come across these myself.. in India.
Now I am wondering what or how she got her hands on that so quickly??? food for thought hehehe..Om..
The scene in the kitchen was adorable with Om trying to explain his past and Gauri being the devi.. to him suddenly turning naughty and pulling her close for a hug.. only to be interrupted by the smiling Pinky... were my eyes deceiving me??? No thoughts that Rikara might beat her Shivaay in giving the next heir to the Oberoi empire. wow.. where is the real Pinky and what have you done with her??? Gulneet???
Thank god Gauri did not interrupt Shivika else she would have fainted for sure seeing her bhaiya's state... The dialogue outside their room when she heard the bhajan.. was the best line...DIvy wrote some great lines..
poor guy...Shivaay suffering the consequences of wanting to have a first night with his wife who is finally READY. The guy could not have been happier to see the extent of Anika's preparation and his balloon pricked by the nasty OJ. Ouch..ouch...
Om running his fingers across the bare shoulders of his chiraiya sent goosebumps down her arm and she knew at once he was behaving in an unusual manner. Shrenal nailed the scene here with Om biting into the moist cake whilst trying to woo Gauri who became suspicious at once.. smelling the cake that brought the fact to light... to Om lifting her up and doing a twirl... đđź oh.. it was too cute.. want to see more of them... HS?????
Om did become unconscious after a few minutes and makes me think what would have happened if Shivaay had drunk the OJ??? My imagination running riot here...
Shivika were in their element, utterly gorgeous in dark blue and like Shivaay..wow wow wow.. the dvd mixup was a nice touch and the EPIC scene was DADI's reaction and her cuss words.. on seeing what was in the screen.. One small point..why on earth does anyone need a mood lifter on their SR??? Like seriously... never mind...
Shivaay looked like a train wreck after his bout of ulti' and had to marvel at Nakuul for delivering a realistic portrayal. Taaliyan... Anika soothing him like a sick baby.. (husbands become babies when they are sick... ) Awww... the song was so apt.. Dil ke armaan ansoo on mein beh gaye... đ
Always wondered at the myraid candles lit about in the room and had my query answered today.. recipe for fire... and dampening the best laid seduction plans to naught... đ
Poor babies... 2 SR in the first marriage hate phase and then 3 by Shivaay with 2 more now one each for Shivika.. Correct me if I am wrong here...
Last week was the Pia/Goa track that was bleh to Friday's epic.. lines from Billuji.. on shaadi sirf do jism ka rishta nahi.. man se man ka milan hai... etc...to becoming his wife's best friend... and ofc the TEASER of the LAAL ISHQ. Can't wrap my head around that as that song is playing non stop in my mind...along with the visuals of Narbhi throwing paint on each other. Hoping for a khidkitod... next few episodes..with few interruptions from the editor uncle...
Survived the weekend and will the Laal Ishq outlive the hype that surrounds it.
The countdown has begun in earnest. đ
