Well...I hope the episode has sufficiently cleared everyone's doubt regarding Shiv and his very awesome intentions. 👏
I felt like Vyom's presence in Sharanya's life was a big hindrance for Shiv, reason why he waited this long to strike. I really don't know what to say for tonight's episode since it had left me fuming and cringed on so many levels! 🤢
Let's not even start with the whole Shv-Sharanya scene in the end. I don't care about risking the wrath of fangirls, point is, for a girl who has been subjected to sexual harassment at various stages of her life even before she hit puberty, a scene like this is bound to create nothing but disgust for the character! 😡
No offence to Namik. He was doing his job. However, I swear, if I see him defending this particular scene, at least, I will lose all respect for him!
It cringed me so bad that I had to sing one of our puppies to sleep before calming down enough to write down this review- and I'M NOT KIDDING!
Done, with the rant, coming to the episode.
I don't want to sound smug because all my predictions were correct, but oh well, I guess I won't be able to help it either. 😛
Most of the predictions regarding Vyom, Rajan and Sharanya have been 100% accurate so far. I was right about Vyom becoming Rajan Bedi 2.0. I was right about Sharanya sacrificing her friendship with Vyom to save his life. I was also right about Rajan being an ass, but the kind you wanna root for. 😆
Regarding the scenes with VaNya and Rajan-Vyom- where do I start?
"Agar tumhe zid karna aata hain, toh mujhe zabardasti!" I was so mad at Vyom! And at the same time, I was floored with the sizzling chemistry!
Sharanya's angry puppy eyes and Vyom's sinfully intense eyes, coupled with that brief trapping her in-between himself and the car and then the final shot of him carrying her so easily on his shoulders.
^Now, you may as as to why I didn't find this problematic? It was problematic, no doubt, but it was definitely not cringeworthy. Sharanya was momentarily angry at him, she wasn't freaked out, she wasn't terrified out of her skin. And despite everything Vyom did to debar her from searching for questions from her past, she broke all ties with him for HIS safety. If that doesn't tell you about her subconscious physical acceptance and conscious mental acceptance of Vyom, I don't know what will.
I felt so, so bad for Sharanya tonight! My poor baby! 😭
She doesn't even have a genuine friend with whom she can confide her fears and expect to not be judged or shushed just because it doesn't correspond with theirs'. She wants to save Vyom's life, but at what cost? She's too naive if she thinks this will stop either Vyom or the ghost. Donal was wonderful in enacting her pain! 👏
Rajan= what do I say about this man. Tere jaise baap ho toh tere bacchon ko dushmano ki kya zaroorat. 😆
No wonder Vyom is turning out to be Rajan 2.0. Any parent in his/her right mind, in a situation like this will suggest his/her child to give their loved one some space, instead of being a Betal to their Vikram. 🤔
Although, I can't deny the cutesy of their scene, especially when they hugged and Rajan called him "Mera Baccha". Awww. 😳
"Collect the broken pieces of you heart, and make it into an art." Ok, that was one good saying. He should've followed it with- "And make sure to sell it so that you can stop being so jobless, gadhe!" 😆
Precap- Looks like Shiv has put Shanny into an enchanted sleep. Froze the side of her door, so that she can't get out and he can creepily admire her sleeping from various positions? 🤓
Nice try beta, good luck making it work.
Last, but not the least- VIKRAM YOU BEAUTY!!! 🤗
