Chapter 23

MM Morning

Everyone was ready gathered at dinning table for Breakfast, suman also settled at one of the chair oblivious to the fact that it was her first rasoi today, dadi noticed her and smirked inwardly and as usual dadi's devil mind got idea

"kya baat hai ab to lagta hai sabkuchh muze hi batana padega sabko, es ghar me 4-4 bahuye hai fir bhi koi kam ki nahi hai, yeh to nayi hai" she pointed finger toward sumo "lekin baki sab bhi bhool gayi" nirmala,kamini,vandy and sumo appalled and stared dadi

"Kya hua maaji aap aise kyu bol rahi hai kuchh galati ho gayi hai kya?" nirmala bemused

"ab muze pucho kya galati hui hai, aaj tumhari bahu ki pahali rasoi karani hai aur wo yaha aaram se baithi hai aur to aur tum to bhul hi gayi es ghar ki rasmo ko" dadi deadpanned with fake angry glare

sumo scrambled to to be on her feets from seat and started fidgeting with hem of her saree, she was waiting for next comment from dadi with her head down but instead heard chuckling of all family members, she snapped her head toward shravan who was also trying hard to suppress his laugh

sumo understood that dadi was just pulling her leg but which hurted her most was shravan was also enjoying at her expense, she expected that he should at least be on her side when everyone was having fun though it's not meant to humiliate her or something they wanted to do purposely, it was just the jolly nature of the clan and till now she started kind of envisaging their nature but she didn't expected it from the person who is her husband and the only one whom she trusted enough to leave her house and come to the entirely new house.

That was the first real expectation she did with the fake marriage which was her kind of first mistake

Her eyes welled up with all the mixed feeling going on inside her, on the other hand the moment their eyes met he understood her predicament and he really felt ashamed of his own act , obviously she was not the person who was used to of this kind of environment around her and here instead of stopping them to do that he also joined them, his smile dropped and he glared to clan to stop all this but sigh it was already late damaged was already done, sumo ran to the kitchen without uttering a word only to hide tears filled in her eyes

"Dadi please stop yaar, use bura laga aap bhi na jab dekho tab majakh hi karate ho, wo en sab environment me nayi hai thoda to soch liya karo" he chided dadi and others also dropped their smiles

dadi just smiled on his statement, she was satisfied the way he took her side really pleased her and that was the main reason she did that, having experience 50 years of happy marital life she was very well known of the exact reason which hurted sumo the most "puttarji, tu na ekdum hi pagal hai" dadi shook her head in disbelief

shravan stared her in amusement "please dadi ab meine kya kiya? aapne majak kiya bichari ka, aap log hase, aur pagal mein, wah ji? your are being unfair here" he bemused

"aur tu bhi sabke sath has ditta bichari pe?" she raised her brow and he screwed up his face with the realization that what blunder he did "sahi samaza puttar, ab tenu akal aayi suman ko es baat ka bilkul bhi bura nahi laga ki hum logo me majak kiya balki es baat ka bura laga ki tune bhi hum logo ka sath diya" he nodded in agreement still closing his eyes

nirmala stood up from her place "maaji mein dekhati hu, bichari ro rahi hogi"

ramanath tugged her wrist which made her halt at her track "nirmala tum nahi jaogi jisake wajah se wo royi hai wahi jayega use sambhalane" ramnath announced firmly

shravan nodded his head and went to kichen in search of his wife, all sighed happily

Sumo was searching for the ingredients of mung daal ka halwa for her first rasoi while opening and shutting cabinets furiously

"bitiya ji aap muze bataeye na kya chahiye mein nikalake deta hu" bahadurji tried to help her since from the last five minutes only exercise was going on in kitchen was opening and closing cabinets with all force she have without taking out a single ingredient, poor soul didin't fathomed intensity of the volcano so butted in

shravan reached kitchen but stopped at door when he heard her voice, sumo was facing her back to him "aap kyu help karoge bahudurji, jab khudka pati hi sabke sath milake mera majak bana sakata hai, aap hi bataiye kya karu mein haan? nahi pata muze kab kaun kya bolega lekin wo lambu to hai na wo muze nahi bata sakata hai, nahi lekin us bandar ko bhi to khi khi karake hasana hai" she fumed while keeping one hand on her hip and another was in air asking for answer from bahadurji, shravan chuckled on the plight of poor soul who was silently pleading his chotesahab's help for his rescue from this volcano

shravan gestured him to relax and move out when sumo turned to cabinets for another round of her search operation, bahadurji nodded and scooted out from the kitchen before she could catch him again "chote baba mahol bahot garam hai" bahadur ji eyed sumo who was again started her operation furiously,

shravan smiled "ji kaka aap jaiye mein dekhata hu" he blinked in assurance and bahadurji left from there

he moved inside kitchen "samazata kya hai lambu apane aap ko, koi aise hasta hai apane biwi pe? baki sab logo ka samazame aate hai woh to unaka pyar hai jo aise majak karate hai lekin woh" but at the next moment she sighed sadly "haan sahi to hai woh kyu meri side lega" she closed her eyes to calm herself and clutched counter, shravan who was enjoying all drama till now started feeling guilty now

"sumo i am sorry, muze pata hai tumhe bura laga, i am really sorry" he turned her by placing hand on her shoulder

"shravan just go sit with them and laugh on me" she pushed him slightly but it was not enough to budge him an inch "jao na please" she again tried to push him and her eyes swam with tears "akela chod do muze i will handle it"

he simply jerked her with elbow and took her in his embrace "shh i know i did mistake a big mistake but you know i am a jerk sorry" he cooed her and started caressing her hairs

she calmed and nodded in agreement "haan you a big a**hole jerk" she slapped on his chest and giggled

"woha girl mind your mouth ye sab only in our room not here, you know we have family and koi kabhi aa sakata hai" he teased her

she parted from hug slightly to have a look of his face "sorry" she apologized cutely while holding her ear still having that beautiful smile on her face

"no problem are we good now?" he asked her still a pleasant smile on his face

"yeah" she nodded cutely

"okay so now tell me kya banane wali ho? aaj tumhari first rasoi hai na?" he asked while trying comprehend her search option

"ohh shit, haan mein na moong ke dal ka halwa banane wali hu lekin kuchh mil hi nahi raha hai" she came out from the hug and again started searching for ingredients

shravan smile broadly hearing name of his favourite dessert but decide not to tell her "okay baba don't panic tell me what you need i will help you" he asked seriously this time

"you know kitchen me kya kaha raha khai?" she beamed "i mean i just know ki sugar, tea and coffee kaha hai wo pata hai us din chai banayi thi na lekin baki sab nahi mil raha hai" she complained while scratching her forehead and trying to figure out where should be the ingredients

"okay just wait tell me what you need" he moved toward cabinet, sumo told him all ingredients one by one and he handed over her

She prepared dessert and he helped her out wholeheartedly in all process and finally they finished cooking with the help of each other and of course with so much teasing and tom & jerry fights , they moved to dining table to join others with the dessert

This was the first hope he gave her unknowingly by standing on her side as real husband in their fake marriage

"Waah ji puttar kya halwa bana hai maan kar raha hai ungliya chat lu" lalaji praised her while licking his dish

"sahi kaha lalane beta bahot achha bana hai,pet bhar gaya lekin man nahi bhara mera, meri aur lala ki to lottery hi lag gayi" ramnath seconded his brother

"are lekin bade papa bhabhiji ne to yeh bas bhaiyya ke liye banaya hai, pahale din hi pati ki favourite dish not at all bad huh?" pushkar teased sumo while stuffing his mouth with dessert in his plate and winked at shravan

shravan who was savouring his favourite dish choked his food on pushkar's comment since he was not in mood to embarrass her by telling her about his like, he snapped his head toward sumo who was already glaring him with glas of water in her hand, he quietly took it "beta aaj to tera din hi kharab hai, subah se sherani ke sath pange le raha hai" he mused while gulping water passed by her

"are sab nikammo kahike bas tarife karate jaa rahe ho koi use gift shift doge ke nahi, bachhi ne etani mehnat se halwa banaya aur yeh bhukkado ki tarah bus khate jaa rahe hai, khote de puttar" dadi chided her both sons with glare but shravan sighed thinking about how dadi saved him

"are maa hum log to aapka intajar kar rahe the aap sabse badi hai na" ramnath tried to reason out with low tone

"haan ha sahi hai jaise har kaam karane se pahale yaad rakhate ho" dadi chided him with so much of annoyance "suman puttar etthe aa to" sumo reached dadi "ye le" she handed her beautiful set of Gold Ruby & Emerald Bangles

sumo's face lit up when she saw emerald bangles, she bend down and took blessings from dadi "beta yeh mere saas ne diya tha jab meri pahali rasoi hui thi, muze pata tha tuze yeh pasand hai esiliye ye diya" she said pointing bangles in sumo's hand

"thank you dadi,it's so beautiful" sumo replied happily and moved forward but before she could reach ramnath 2 exhilaratingly jumping cuties blocked her way, she smiled broadly and sat on keens to match their height

"chachi this from me and eti" ehan passed a gift wrapped box to sumo "pleashh chachi open it na, aapko pata hai me & bhaiyya ne apane hands se banaya hai" eti requested cutely

she happily opened gift and got amazed by seeing it "baby you really made it?" both cuties bobbed their heads nervously "thank you so much baby, i loved this so much, this is the best gift i got ever" both faces broke into broad smile and they kissed sumo on both of the chicks which she returned happily

"are aisa kya hai bhai hume bhi to dikhao, etane secretly yeh kya dono bana rahe the?" varun who couldn't kept quite with curiosity since from last night his both kids was so secretly engrossed in the preparation of gift finally butted in

sumo happily showed it to all clan, it was a simple cute card with the message of "Welcome To the Family" which was written by ehan and some flower designs made by eti along with that they gifted her some chocolates

ramnath gestured her to come near him, sumo again kissed both babies and moved toward ramnath "shravan beta tum bhi yaha aao, actually my gift is for both of you" it muddle shravan but he nodded and moved toward him to join sumo

ramnath gestured nirmala to join him and she quickly moved toward them, both handed shraman envelope with the ecstatic feeling as they were sure about their unique wedding gift idea, shraman stared envelope in amusement and took blessings from his parents

but who knows that won't stay for long

kamini nudged lalaji to give their gift, lalaji nodded and got up from his seat with the envelope in his hand along with kamini

"ye lo puttarji hum dono ki taraf se tum dono ke liye" lalaji also handed over envelope to shraman increasing their interest in the envelopes they are holding

"shravan yeh sab hume envelopes kyu de rahe hai" sumo whispered in his ear

"muze kya pata yaar but i am really getting negative vibes here" he murmured with fake smile

"ye lo bhai this from me and vandy for both of you" shraman secret chitchat stopped by varun who also handed them on envelope which really reduced triumphant smiles on elder couples faces

"ye kya hai aap logo ne koi shopping ke coupons diye hai kya? sab envelopes hi de rahe hai" pushkar butted in

"ye lo shravan aur suman this for you a small gift from me" saumya handed them a small box, all sighed in relief since it was not again an envelope

"bhaiyya and bhabhi this is for you both, welcome to the family bhabhi" pushkar side hugged sumo and handed them a box

"okay so now bhaiyya and bhabhi please have a seat and open all gifts let us see sabne kya kya diya hai" pushkar rubbed his hands in excitement

all settled in living room with shraman in the middle with the excitement

"okay so sabse first my gift bhabhi please" pushkar requested childishly

sumo slapped playfully on his forehead "okay baba i am opening don't pretends to be cute one which you are not" sumo mocked him

she opened his gift which was beautiful pendant pair had two pieces of one Heart- each one saying ' I LOVE YOU' , that can be joined together making one Heart- a sign of making two souls in one heart

"you liked it?" pushkar asked her excitedly, shraman felt awkward but as everyone was there they gave fake excited smile "yeah it's beautiful pushkar" sumo replied with broad smile

"now open mine" bua barged in and handed her gift to sumo to open, sumo nodded and opened gift which was beautiful diamond couple rings

"this is so beautiful bua, thank you" this time shravan replied bua as it was really a beautiful piece which needed true appreciation

"you're welcome beta" saumya replied gleefully

"thik hai to ab hum logo ka gift kholo, muze pakka yakin hai yeh tum logo ko bahot pasand aayega" nirmala beamed while handing envelope to sumo

sumo gave a fake hesitant smile to nirmala and eyed shravan as if asking for courage to face what they have in their plate, he blinked in assurance but he was also tensed about what his crazy family have plans for them

sumo slowly opened gift "kya hai suman?" vandy inquired excitedly thinking about it won't be better than what they gave

"7 days 6 nights paris honeymoon package" sumo replied with the clear shock on her face still her gaze focused on the tickets in her hand

"what!!" shravan exclaimed and stared her with shock on all over his face , sumo just nodded while blinking eyes with fake smile to cover up her state in front of excited clan

Nirmala and ramnath was not able to hide their triumphant smirk as they noticed smiles from other two couples are dropped

"wow bade papa aap to ekdam advanced nikale honeymoon package for Paris?" pushkar raised hand in appreciation "dekhiye enake maan me kaise laddu foot rahe hai" he teased shraman "ab chalo bhaiyya mumma aur papa ne aapko kya gift diya hai jaldi dekhiye" pushkar handed another envelope to shravan

shravan scratched back of his head "he bhagwan please don't embarrass me more" he silently prayed to god and opened envelope

"kya hai bhaiyya?" pushkar asked so much excitement

"8 days and 7 nights switzerland honeymoon package" he shook his head in disbelief and showed tickets to other members

"oh god really? mumma aap logo ko bhi kuch aur nahi socha seriously?" pushkar was stunned with choice of the gifts this elderly couple

"yeh lalaji ka idea tha" kamini quickly put all blame on lalaji

"oye soniyo ye sahi hai aap hi to bol rahi thi ki switzerland bhejate hai khud nahi jaa payi to enako bhej rahi thi aap" lalaji splitted beans and beat his tongue on his gaffe

"kuchh bhi aivenhi" kamini slapped on his arm but a flush crept up her face

"yeh bhi gift ka idea bhi ram ka hi tha" nirmala cleared her side

"and hence its proved you both are real brothers, ek hi soch" pushkar commented playfully

"oye khote kya kahna chahata hai?" dadi rebuked him "fate muh bakwas band kar, chalo suman puttar ab varun ne kya diya hai woh to dekho" dadi enjoined

sumo nodded and took last gift to open "no need suman, its honeymoon package to Hawaii" vandy revealed their gift sadly

and that was it for pushkar who was started rolling with uncontrollable laughter

all clan glared him "i am so sorry but it is so funny, 3-3 honeymoon package" he somehow spoke in between his laugh and again started laughing like a maniac "bhaiyya you guys can do one thing 1 month ke liye honeymoon pe chale jao first hawaii from there go to paris and at the end switzerland" pushkar gave his genuine suggestion

"chotte i will kill you stop it now" shravan murmured through gritted teeth and glared pushkar as he was laughing up his sleeve as usual oblivious to sumo's plight whose face was lost all colors

"haan ye sahi rahega" vandy seconded him enthusiastically and vsrun slapped his forehead on his wife's dumbness

sumo was already red with all this fiasco and all this comments was really not doing any good to her state, she gestured shravan to do something to escape from this situation

"aap tino ne hum logo ko honeymoon package dya hai, we would love to go all places" sumo snapped her head toward him, he just blinked and pressed her hand to calm down "but hum log etane din ki leaves nahi le sakate" nirmala started to say something, but shravan gestured her to stop "i knopw maa you will say ki muze leaves me lene me koi problem nahi hai but now its not me it's us"he wrapped hand around her shoulder "aur sumo ko etani leaves nahi milegi already shadi ke liye etani leaves le chuki hai, she is handling some important project, aur koi ek ka gift accept karake hum baki logo ko hurt nahi karna chahte hai hai na sumo?" he raised brow and she also nodded in agreement, shravan was speaking with so much proficiency that no one could even think that it was while lie

"haan maa shravan bilkul sahi kah raha hai, hum logo ko such me bahot bura lagega hum kisi ek ka gift accept kare aur dusare ka nahi" sumo also seconded him with sad face but all the while doing all type of bhangra steps from inside

"idea hum log ek kaam karate hai, chit nikalate hai, jo bhi place aayega tum log waha chale jana" vandy suggested clapping her hands gleefully

"are wah kya baat hai puttarji pahali dafa tenu pate ki baat ki hai, tussi to dil jeet liya puttarji" lalaji got first ever chance to praise vandy for giving some meaningful idea and shraman slapped themselves mentally

Vandy came to living room with a bowl having chits, after so much battle of wills shraman concede their defeat and was ready to pick one of the location

vandy placed bowl in front of them "so suman fast choose one chit" vandy chirped

"no its okay let shravan choose" she gave a fake broad smile, the actual reason was she was not at all willing to be the reason for their misery and to be blamed later

"aww so sweet, but honey don't you think you should choose after all you are my love so whatever you choose i will accept it" how come the most brilliant lawyer could duped into her innocent face

"ahem ahem" ramnath cleared his throat to perceive their presence to the love birds as per them

"okay" sumo gulped lump in her throat and hesitantly picked up one chit to read

"its hawaii right suman, i knew it you will choose that only" vandy exhilarated , nirmala and kamini started sulking on their loss

sumo nodded her head in no "its Switzerland bhabhi" sumo said sadly earning a happy squeal from kamini

"sach suman, he babaji tera lakh lakh shukar hai, suman ne switzerland choose kiya, mein kal aana hai hai gurudware mathha tekane" kamini thanked babaji as if it was a 100 million lottery instead of a honeymoon package

all gaped her as if they saw something alien to them, kamini looked at all and started biting her lips out of embarrassment and all busted into laughter

"oye soniyo makhani de soliye tussi to aise khush ho rahe ho jaise aap aur lalaji jaa rahe hai honeymoon vich" pushkar mimicked as lalaji to tease kamini only turning her more red in embarrassment

"chup kar khote de puttar" dadi chided him

"so its final suman aur shravan switzerland jaa rahe hai honeymoon ke liye for 8 days and 7 nights" Varun declared making all clan to squeal in happiness except the two whose life was just a bowl of cherries (sarcasm).

"There is nothing on earth more beautiful to me than your smile...no sound sweeter than your laughter...no pleasure greater than holding you in my arms."

After so long time i got chance to write next update, i know you guys are waiting for update but this office stuff kept me busy all the time.

Chapter 24

In Shraman room after breakfast

All honeymoon packages were laying on the coffee table in front of them, shravan was sitting on couch and sumo settled herself on chair by folding her legs in indian style, they were staring package tickets like as if they are the most hated things in the world for them at this moment

"Really, i mean how they can do that to us?" shravan scoffed amusingly

"seriously yaar they are taking all decisions hitherto for us by themselves not even bothered what we want" sumo was simmering with all that honeymoon fiasco which was happened just some time before

"really, i mean ye bol rahe the arrange marriage karo, hum logo ne ki" shravan irked

"bol rahe the beta engagement kar lo thode logo ke samane to be precise 200 logoke samane, we agreed even though we're not ready for that" sumo brusque while pressing each word

"sabne bola sare riwazo ke sath shadi karo, en logo ke liye hum logone wo bhi kar liya" shravan absolutely cheesed off with their inveigling families "etane se man nahi bhara tha to muze ghodi tak chadha diya did they even bothered from what all i was going through huh?" his nostrils flared with utmost anger

"I am sick and tired of all this things now i can't handle it more, do din shravan sirf do din hue hai hum log ek sath es room me rah rahe hai to ye haal hai, and now go on honeymoon that too with you and that too for 10-12 days no ways" sumo mocked but it was just to cover a guilt complex started developing inside her lately

shravan felt offended with her retort but choose to ignored there was salient situation to deal with rather than occasion to pick a fight "yeah correct what we will do there on honeymoon like sightseeing and just roam around it will be boring with you seriously? agar couples ke lovey dovey scenes dekhane hai to yaha delhi me kya kam jagah hai jo usake liye switzerland jane kya jaroorat hai?" his eyes popped out as he reasoned out their situation of going to honeymoon without any honey in their relation

"by d way i am good company for travelling, i really love to visit different places but sorry i can't go with you" sumo felt offended "aise boaring ensan ke sath kon jayega?" she murmured second sentence unser breath

"Did you said something?" shravan asked as he heard something but it was so low that he couldn't hear it, sumo just nodded innocently "sorry no offence but i really can't go out with you on honeymoon yaar please and thats final" shravan got up from his place and raised his hands in air

"what do you mean haan not with me i mean i am good company haan" sumo aggrieved with his rejoinder

"really you? i mean you will be all lazy there and then hum logo me zagda hoga, ek dusare ko blame karenege..." he was ready to continue his protest but she she cut him off

"toh tum sari chize yaha waha phekoge, jaise yaha karate ho, then obviously i will be irked and snapp at you" she also retorted

"ek min ek min are we really going to this stupid honeymoon?" he turned to face her and cocked his brow while crossing his arms across his chest

she quickly nodded her head while pressing her lips in thin line "Nahi bilkul nahi" she replied briskly

"to fir instead of finding way to come out from this situation why we are fighting on this stupid reason huh?" sumo bit her tongue and her face flushed on her stupid act

sumo sprang out from her seat and marched toward him "ab hum log kya karenge shravan? kaise batayenge sabko? kya hoga muze kuch samaz me nahi aa raha hai, it was really insane i knew it ke ek zuth ko chipane ke liye hajar zut bolane padenge, we did a huge mistake shravan" sumo panicked and said all this in one breathe

shravan grabbed her shoulders and made her steady "sumo just relax" he blinked in assurance she nodded and calm down little bit "now slowly breathe in and breathe out" and she followed his instructions obediently

she again open her mouth to say something but he cut her off "pata nahi kya karenge but i will do something you don't take tension mein baat karunga tum kisise baat mat karna es bare me okay?" he replied with determination as he was very circumspect to add any further insult to injury by letting her handle this situation

oblivious to his intentions she was so much busy in thinking what can be done to solve and didn't gave any response to him which irked him "sumo are you listening what i just said?" this time he raised his pitch to break her trance

she flinched "huh? ha.. ha haan ok..ay okay" her reply came as stutter but good for her he just ignored and left from there.

After an Hour

Sumo got ready for office and went to kitchen to fetch some food for her lunchbox, kamini was busy in kitchen in the preparation of lunch for all with the help of bahadurji, sumo hesitantly entered kitchen as she was sure there would be no one available in kitchen and it will be easy for her to tackle butler without any intervention but by her very great luck kamini was there and now she need answer many unwelcomed questions "sumo teri kistmat to na bahot hi achhi hai" she murmured under her breath

she took a deep breath and entered kitchen "are beta suman tum yaha kitchen me kya kar rahi ho?" kamini fired question as expected "kahi jaa rahi ho ya?" kamini checked out her attire with a quick glance, sumo followed her gaze as she was now changed into the beautiful peach and blue panjabi salwar suit

"haan chachiji actually muze office jana tha" she replied as felt apprehensive about what will be the reaction from kamini so she tucked stand of hair behind left ear and waited for her response

"Hayo rabba yeh tu kya bol rahi hai, aaj shadi ko do din nahi hue hai aur tum office jaa rahi ho? aur wo bhi akele kaise jayegi tu?" kamini was completely freaked out with the idea of sumo going office by her own

"chachiji relax meine bus thodi der ke liye jaa rahi thi woh actually shadi ke gadbad me meine leaves apply nahi ki thi to woh hi karna hai aur ek file handover karni thi bas, thodi der me aa jaungi..." she paused for a moment because got the clear indication of how bad idea was that so something came off the top of my head to divert all intention "aur meine shravan ko bola tha mere sath chalane ke liye lekin woh to aapko pata hai na bas use sona hai ya usaki koi case ke file me duba rahta hai" she really made such a abala nari face for which the biggest lawyer of the world would have been fall so there is standing next to her was just innocent kamini so how she can get saved from this?

"aww mera bachha tu ruk mein na abhi jiji se bolakar usaki acchese khabar leti hu" kamini patted her head in assurance under the impression of how much this innocent soul is suffering from her brand new husband but who knows that was the way around

"nahi please chachiji maa ko kuchh mat boliye na woh shravan ko datengi, muze bilkul achha nahi lagega please chahciji?" she pleaded with so much concern on her face which clearly made impression that after getting badly treated by her husband alsi she is one of perfect example of good wife who will save her husband from every earfult, without giving any heed to her pleading kamini scooted out of the kitchen after giving quick instructions to bahadurji

after kamini left kichen sumo couldn't control her happiness and started jumping with joy, bahadurji and other workers stared her amusingly "bitiya aap thik to hai na?" bahadurji inquired poor soul unable to decipher reason of her crazy dance

sumo's face flushed with embarrassment but still she was not able to control her smile "ji kuch nahi kaka aap apana kam kariye" she quickly zoomed out from there with lightning speed

Sumo was heading toward nirmala's room just to enjoy remaining drama which she have started back in kitchen just few minutes ago but she stopped in her path as heard noises from backyard.

she changed her path and tiptoed toward backyard but stopped at door when she noticed pushkar was talking on phone by facing his back toward her, it was clear from his whispering that he was definitely talking with someone whom he don't want to disclose for now at least and its nowhere related to work, she chucked all the thoughts and turned heels to leave but again stopped when she heard preeti's name "haan baba preeti hume aapki yaad bahot aati hai lekin aap hai ki bhabhi ke yaha aane ke baad hume to yad hi nahi karati" by hearing pushkar's sweet flirtatious voice

"achhaji ab eame humari galati hai huh?" he turned having a shy smile on his face, sumo quickly hide behind the pillar so that he can't see her

"yeh pushkar preeti se kya baat kar raha hai? aur wo bhi etane sharamake? hmm daal me kuchh to kala hai? muze preeti se puchana padega pakka, lekin pahale enaki to khabar lu mere bahen se flirt kar rahe hai janab aur muze hi pata nahi tu ruk beta mein bhi sumo hu" she mused and raised her imaginary collars on her smartness with the smug spread all over her face but while this she lost the record of preekar's conversation

Meanwhile pushkar ended his call and about to leave backyard when he noticed sumo standing there with mischievous grin on her face "hmm devarji lag raha hai aap kisi very important insan se baat kar rahe the...apparently something very very personal huh?" sumo cocked one brow and a evil sly smile danced on her lip

"woh... woh... mein to bus woh.." pushkar stuttered badly while trying to come up with some excuse but failed miserably

"are kya hua devarji aap to aise hakala rahe ho jaise aap meri behan se baat kar rahe the chori chori?" sumo quipped while smiling quizzically

pushkar was mortified, frozen to the spot, he felt traumatized, he was just waiting the earth to open up and swallow him whole.He stared her with wide eyes and his jaws touched ground, he opened his mouth to say something but nothing came out just like fish, He looked like a pop-eyed toy from one of those claw machines at the fun fair. and that was perfectly funny sight, sumo had the time of her life, she smiled inwardly and placed her hand on his shoulder "are etana kyu dar rahe ho i was just joking" she laughed mischievously

Pushlar let out the breath which he was holding from long time unintentionally "bhabhi aap bhi, aise bol rahi thi aap you really scared shit out of me" he shrieked and sighed in relief thinking about he saved for this time but oblivious to the fact that he have devil in disguise standing front of him

"hahaha tum to sachame aise dar gaye like i caught you red handed, waise ek baat to hai kisi khas se baat ho rahi thi, you continue i will take a leave" she winked making him off his rocker and left from there

On the other hand in nirmala's room when kamini recited all the conversation with sumo to her by adding some more mirch masala which clearly portrayed that how irresponsible shravan was as a husband, nirmala didn't took a minute to call shravan who was working in study room saying it very important matter to discuss without any delay

When poor soul went to nirmala's room oblivious to the fact which his beloved wife have created the whole fiasco just for the matter of her fun fired with lot of earful from nirmala about many things like how irresponsible he is? how he should behave with his wife? how sumo will be dependant on his now and he have to fulfill all her requirements and many more and he just stayed there standstill without any inkling of what exactly he did to be welcomed with such a great advices and earful. So instead of any protest he accepted to keep quiet while cursing sumo with every earful he was getting from nirmala

"sumo aaj to mein tumhe nahi chodunga you messed up with wrong person, how you could do that meine to kuch kiya bhi nahi, god dammit you should have talked to me what exactly i did man" he murmured though his gritted teeths and nodded in concurrence with them

finally he apologized to nirmala and he scampered out like an overgrown puppy toward his room and waited for sumo while pacing to and fro like a raging bull

After leg pulling session of pushkar sumo completely forget that why she was going toward nirmala's room , so in excitement she went to her room with broad smile on her face

As soon as she entered in room holding her stomach while laughing carefully looking outside of the room shravan snapped his head toward her and forgot all anger he was holding till now

He was staring and there seems no end to his fascination, his own lips moved upward as a reflexion of her smile, his heart felt at peace with the sight in front of him, her carefree laugh sounded asa beautiful melody to his ears

sumo was busy in peeking out from the door to check if someone is coming to their room while continuously laughing, his dreamy staring session interrupted by her "shravan Oh my god, it was so funny" she said while locking door carefully

He snapped out from the from the reverie and ruffled his hairs with smile "shravan yeh kya kar rahe ho get grip of yourself Mr shravan Malhotra , thank god she didn't noticed" he chided himself under the breath and started looking here and there just to avoid any eye contact with her

After closing door sumo came toward him while removing her stole, his eyes popped out "sumo tum yeh kya rahi ho, dekho meri ijjat mat luto please, i know i am very hot no one can resist me but please yaar apane es abala pati ko chod do please, i will do anything but please yeh nahi" he quipped and covered his chest with his hands dramatically

she again started laughing while rolling on bed, her hazel nut eyes were the color of milk chocolate edged with a deep forest-green and when she smiled both colors ignited with a glow dazzling him with the warmth of the deep brown and the seductive green dancing around its edge.

They were so captivating and was very capable of capturing the heart of any man who gazed at her then how he can be left from the magic of them, whenever he stared in her magical eyes he was mesmerized by the deep swirls of brown that colored her pupils where he always got drowned in them

"Shravan tum bhi kuch bhi bolate ho, i am not going to molest this abala nar okay so stop being drama queen" her quizicall laugh snapped him back from his lala land

she hit him hardly on his arm "shut up you moron, kuch bhi bolate ho"

"shravan ab agar nahi sunoge na to dekho mein maa se tumhari complain kar dungi" he whined

as soon as she said that his mind again travelled back to the moment when he was angry on her "oh madan on the same note will you kindly enlighten this poor soul with the knowledge of what exactly i did with you because of which maa gave me such a big lecture of HOW TO TREAT YOUR NEWLY WEDDED WIFE?" he stressed on each word of his last sentence and crossed his arms across his chest

She bit her tongue and squeezed her eyes shut tightly "sumo nahi darna hai esase its okay thoda to woh bhi sunega na mein hi kyu?" she thought and next moment she opened her eyes by putting a mask of brave face but she only knows how much she was scared of his just like a scared kitten is standing in front of 6'4" german shepherd and he will attack on her at any moment

"please matarani bacha lena aaj es se" she pleaded for help mentally "are woh to bas aise hi" she passed him and sat on bed "woh mein office ja rahi thi to chichiji ne pakad liya, fir mein kya karati" she shrugged

"ohh toh yeh baat hai, lekin tum office abhi kyu ja rahi thi, you know naa aaj tumhe nahi jane milata" he stated as matter of fact and settled in front of her on bed

"haan shravan but tumhi socho na mein aise ghar me kab tak rahu i wIll be bored, no one allowed me to help them also" she pouted with huff actually she was getting bored as it was so unlike of her to sit at home and enjoy.

'toh kya karu you are the only one on him i can count, so i did what came in my mind sorry" she held her ear with cute face and it melted him in a click

"achha achha thats fine, mein maa se baat karta hu tum kalse office chali jana okay?" he assured her with beautiful smile playing on his lips, and in next moment she was leapt on him wrapping him in a warm hug, he taken aback at first but in next moment he grinned ear to ear and wrapped her in his embrace with content smile on their faces

After staying in each others arm for sometime she noticed their position and quickly broke hug there was awkward silence spreaded in the room , she locked her gaze on her lap where her fingers were fidgeting with each other

"i am sorry, woh i don't know kaise..." She could feel the heat growing in her cheeks and the blooming colour was so cute against her wheatish skin

"Sumo no problem, and you don't need to feel guilty and say sorry" he unlocked her fingers and she snapped her eyes toward him

"remember we are friends so friends can hug each other there no big deal in it okay" he tried to lighten her mood which worked instantly

"thank you, are shravan tumhe to mein batana bhul hi gayi" she chirped and recited whole pushkar incident to him and both started rolling on bed while holding their stomach's

"waise sumo you are getting bored so why don't you arrange your cloths in closet?" he suggested

"haan i was going to ask you same thing, where should i keep my cloths and other you know personal stuff ?" she got up from bed and moved toward her bags which were kept in walking closet

"jaan ab hum logo ki shadi ho gayi hai to kya tera aur mera, jo mera hai woh tera hai aur jo tera woh mera" he said while batting his lashes like a love sick puppy

sumo's eyes popped out from the sockets "what did you just said? come again?" she was so shocked that couldn't believe her ears

shravan winked "you heard it correct jaan jo tera woh mera aur jo mera woh tera" he said with mischievous smile dancing on his lips

she shook her head knowing that he was just teasing her but somewhere deep down her inner self was dancing by hearing that sweet endearment he used which brought an uncontrollable smile on her face , her cheeks turned pink thank god he was not able to see her face , she tugged hair strand falling on her face behind her ear with shy smile and moved her back toward him facing cupboard

she opened one side of the closet and found all cloths were dumped into there recklessly, her smile turned into frown "shravan yeh kya hai? koi aise rakhata hai kya apana closet so untidy" she whined and took out heap of clothes and placed on bed in front of him

shravan gaped between her and that heap of clothes unable to decipher why she kept all them infront of him "yeh sab kya hai, don't tell me you have habit of keeping your things in such a untidy way girl" he satirized

"Oh hello Mr this are not mine its yours" she huffed and pointed finger in accusation toward him

"huh?" he stared her "no way mera cupboard maa hamesha arrange karake rakhati hai i think?" his words came out more as a question instead of statement, they were about to argue further but knock on door interrupted them

"chote sahab badi bibiji ne aapko khane ke liye bulaya hai sab aapka intezar kar rahe hai dining table pe" kamalji informed from other side of the door

"Ji kamal ji hum log aate hai abhi" he replied quickly

"ji baba" kamal went from there

"sumo chalo jaldi i am so much hungry, hum log escape badme discuss karenge, i don't want to miss delicious lunch for discussing this stupid stuff now" he started literally dragging her

"are ruko just give me 2 mins i will change into sari" she pulled her hand out from his grip and moved toward washroom after grabbing sari from her bag

"yaar sumo its not required you are looking perfect in this salwar too no need to change" she heard his whining from outside of the washroom

"bhukkad just wait for 2 mins" she smiled and quickly started changing into sari

Everyone was settled on dining table except varun, pushkar, bua, dadi and lalaji shraman also settled on two chairs side by side.

Everyone was chit chatting with each other on some random topics when shravan praised nirmala "wow maa daal is so teasy, can you please pass me some more" he extended his empty bowl

"kuch bhi tu bhi na hamesh meri badhai karate rahata hai" she smiled while passing him dal

By hearing that complement sumo also tasted dal in her plate "nahi maa really it's so tasty" sumo too praised her sincerely

"are aisa kuchh nahi hai beta, ese to mein kuchh bhi de du achha hi lagta hai" nirmala tried to resist to the so much appreciation she got "waise tum ek baar es ghar me thoda ghul mil jao fir mein sab tumhe sop dungi, mein to bhai kitchen me nahi jane wali aur fir dekhana hamesha yeh tere khane ki kaise tarif karta rahega, aur fir jab tumhare bachhoki shadi hogi na tab apane bahu ke samane bhi tumhari hi tarif karega" nirmala beamed

"haan jaise mein karta hu" ramnath seconded her and nirmala blushed

sumo choked her food by hearing all those future plans from nirmala, shravan just turned toward her while crossing his arms around his chest with a devilish smirk on his face, he was very well aware of what was on their way so he was acting all cool such a tease he was , sumo gaped at him while coughing badly but he just gave a look as "you-called-it-i-can't-do-anything"

"are beta kya hua?" nirmala asked with worry on all her face "shravan tu use ghoor kya raha hai pani de bichari ko" nirmala rebuked him

he quickly grabbed glass of water and gave it to her, she took some sips and felt relaxed "i am okay now" she said while wiping her face with napkin

"sure?" he asked with concern and she just nodded and all resumed their lunch

"waise shravan beta tum log kab nikal rahe ho switzerland ke liye?" now this time it's ramnath who butted in making sumo choke her food again

she started coughing badly , her face became all red because of that this time shravan didn't wait and forwarded glass to her

"are shravan usake pith pe sahala she will feel better" kamini suggested oblivious to the fact that they are not familiar to such kind of touches, shravan's eyes popped out and sumo started coughing vigorously. Just to ignore all sort of questions shravan nodded and kept his one hand behind her on chair backrest carefully without touching her pretending as he was rubbing her back, he placed glass near her lips and gestured her with eyes to drink water, she did as said and soon felt relaxed

"are you okay beta?" Ramnath asked with so much concern

"ji papa i am fine, woh lagta hai nanu ne yaad kiya hai" sumo said with smile to conceal her situation

"Are mein batana to bhul hi gayi tiwariji ne tumhe pagphere ke liye bulaya hai kal" nirmala informed her and she nodded in response "shravan kal subah sameer ji aur babulal aayenge suman ko lene aur tum sham me chale jana waha aur use le aana"

"ji maa kal mein chala jaunga" shravan concurred with her

"Aur fir waha se aane ke baad tum log apane honeymoon ki dates final kar lena" ramnath gave candid suggestion

"shravan say something na hum log nahi jane wale hai" sumo leaned near him and whispered in his ear

"haan karta hun na wait let me handle this" he whispered back while passing huge fake smile to all

"kab baat karoge jab yeh sab hume switzerland bhej denge tab?" she retorted in whisper through gritted teeths and passed smile to all

"ahem ahem" kamini cleared her throat "agar tum logo ko kuch personal batein karni ho to Hum log chale jate hai yaha se" kamini teased them and there faces flushed

"nahi nahi chachiji woh shravan bhi na bachhe ki tarah khana khata hai , woh usane niche giraya tha to bas wahi bata rahi thi nothing else" sumo quickly covered up

"waise papa mein kya bol raha tha hum log kuch din baad chale jate hai na" shravan tried to object but whom he was fooling he never ever be able to convince them and best example of it he was sitting here as married. He finally made up plan to tackle them all one by one instead of trying to convince them in group.

"Aaj raatme hum log ice cream party rakhate hai badimaa en logo ke honeymoon ke khushi me" finally vandy chirped who was sitting quite from so long time

"kya baat hai kamini aajkal humari vandy bahot hi achhe suggestion dene lagi hai, i am really impressed" ramanath praised vandy genuinely and vandy beamed in response "to its fixed aaj sham me ice cream party" ramnath declared

After having lunch he started his mission, he tried to talk with lalaji and varun separately so that at least they can understand and help him to convince ramnath and Nirmala but which turned in totally different way and now they were so much determined to send him so that he should not miss those romantic days of there marriage

Finally he gave up and went to office as he need to meet his important client urgently and kept this honeymoon topic aside for the moment and think about it later

Evening MM

Shravan entered in his room and placed his coat on sofa, he went to office later after lunch time for some important stuff which was waiting for his attention on priority

Sumo was sitting on bed with her back rested to headboard and legs crossed on one another so engrossed in her book oblivious to his presence. He just shook his head and headed to washroom

He came out after good 15 mins by changing his formals to the black track pant and white tee and smiled at sumo who was still so much engrossed in her book "sumo" he called her

"hmm" she just hummed without taking her eyes off from book which irritated him

"sumo yaar whats wrong with you, i am here from past 30 mins but you didn't even noticed me" he whined as typical husband who wants all attention of his wife for him

sumo just closed her book by keeping bookmark in it, she moved her gaze to him and raised brow in question

"what?" shravan asked out of irritation

"Exactly that's what i am asking what happened to you? why you are whining like a kid" she snapped back

he laid on bed in front of her raising his head with the support of his left half folded hand "nothing its just that i am tired by convincing people about our honeymoon" he let out a tired sigh

her expression hardened by hearing him "shravan tumhe tension lene ki zaroorat nahi hai meine maa ko bol diya hum log nahi jaa rahe hai" she said firmly

shravan jerked and sat up with jolt "what?" a sudden startled shierk came out from his mouth

"kya hua shravan tum aise kyu react kar rahe ho?" her eyes narrowed now not knowing reason of his bipolar behaviour

"kya hua kya kya hua are you out of your mind? how you could hurt someone only for your benefit huh? kisike emotions ki tumhe koi parwah nahi hai na, you are such a selfish person, bechari maa ko kitna bura laga hoga do you have any idea? haan correct how could you understand when you don't have one" he accused her without giving her any chance to explain

"Bas" she roared and raised her hand to stop him, she felt hurted with his each word but his last line hurt her beyond repair she never imagined he have such thoughts about her, she knew sometimes she behave really acerbic but never in her wild dream she thought of hurting nirmala whom she started loving and respect as her own mother.

"YOU GET HURT ONLY BY PEOPLE WHO OCCUPY A BIG PART OF YOUR HEART. THE MORE IT HURTS, THE MORE IMPORTANT THE PERSON IS"
