Next day

RK talking with Padmini

"I need to tell you important thing" RK

"I'm listening son" Padmini

"I didn't want to talk now because of Madhu exams are so close" RK

"What about Madhu exams is there any problem in college is Madhu not doing well in college" Padmini concerned

"No everything is fine. It is not about college. It is about Madhu and me" RK blushing

"What do you mean by Madhu and you?" Padmini

"I want to marry Madhu. I'm noticing her from her second year in collage she is polite, well mannered, respective, smart and independent. And when I came here saw you all. I wanted to be part of this family. I wanted you all be my family. I wanted to marry Madhu" RK

"But you are part of our family without marrying Madhu" Padmini trying to understand his reason for choosing Madhu

"Yes mom but I have feeling for her" RK blushing

"Ok now I understand" Padmini laughing. It is the first time for her to see RK so soft and loving like this

"But please mom don't tell her anything. I need her to focus on her studies. It is matter of just two months and she will finish her exams. Then we can tell her everything. I didn't want to talk about it now at all. But talking with you and considering me as your son. I thought it is wrong to hide it from you" RK

"Sure RK I will not tell her anything. I'm very glad that you opened up your heart with me. And told me all this" Padmini very happy to see him caring for her daughter

"One more thing. For you I'm Rishabh. RK is just for strangers but you are officially my family now" RK

"Ok Rishabh now drink your tea or it is getting cold" Padmini

After RK left Padmini was worry if Madhu still loves Sultan and if Sultan loves her like Madhu thinking. I must make sure of Sultan feeling for Madhu before accepting RK offer if Sultan loves her and she loves him I will support them. It is my daughter happiness the most important for me. I don't care how rich or how powerful he is. Yes RK is very kind person and I am sure he is the best to take care of Madhu because he loves her very much. I can see it in his eyes. But if Madhu doesn't love him and choose her love to Sultan I can't be against her. I must go to Sultan and know everything from him.

"How are you Meera?" Padmini

"I'm good Padmini. How are you? And how is Malik health now?" Meera

"He is better now. He is working in Kundra hospital now. It is better for his heart condition. He can't work in factories any more. And they doubled his salary" Padmini

"That is very good. You are lucky to find another job so soon" Meera

"Yes thanks to God. He sent us the kindest doctor. Dr. RK. He didn't say anything. But Malik knew that he brought him this opportunity. Can I tell you one thing" Padmini

"Sure" Meera

"I feel that he has feeling for Madhu. I think after her graduation he will ask her for marriage" Padmini telling the half truth and examining Sultan reactions who is sitting near them listening to their talking in silent and with zero reaction on his face.

"Really! That will be great. He is from high family" Meera feeling happy for Madhu

"Yes and he is very kind man. But don't say a word to Madhu. I don't want to give her falls hope. Her final exams will start after two weeks" Padmini

"Sure Padmini I will not tell her anything" Meera

"Now I have to go" Padmini

"Bye take care" Meera

After midnight

Madhu is awake studying preparing for her exams when she heard loud knocking on the door, she ran to open the door

"Aunty. You are here this late. It is 2am. Is everything is alright?" Madhu worry asking Meera

"Please come Madhu. Sultan..." Meera couldn't finish the sentence because of her crying

"What happened to Sultan? What is wrong with him?" Madhu

"What did happen Meera?" Padmini asking as all in the house awake now

"He was upset all the day and when I asked him he said work problems. Now I get up to drink water. When I entered his room to check on him. I found him shaking in his bed from cold. When I touched him, he was in high fever. And sweeting heavy. I don't know what to do. So I came to Madhu to help me. Forgive me" Meera

Madhu ran to check on Sultan. While Padmini consoled Meera

After a while, Madhu came and told Meera that Sultan has overstress and there is something upsetting him a lot. She give him medicine to reduce his fever. And told her, he need rest from work for three days at least. Padmini and Malik went back to sleep, while Madhu stayed up all night thinking about Sultan and what could be his problem that affected him that badly.

In the morning, Madhu saw Sultan walking with her to the bus station as usual. He was so sad. It killed her to see him like that. She couldn't prevent herself from asking him what is wrong.

"Sultan" Madhu calling him

"Yes Madhu" Sultan

"Where are you going? You should rest on bed" Madhu

"It is ok Madhu. I'm better now. And there is important work I have to do" Sultan

"What did happened Sultan? What is upsetting you badly?" Madhu trying to control her tears. And not to cry.

"Nothing Madhu it is just work problem. Don't worry I will solve it. Everything will be ok. Don't worry please" Sultan resisting his hands from brushing the tears from Madhu face

"Here is our bus come Madhu" Sultan

"OK" Madhu

After her day finished in college, RK noticed it is late for her to go alone now so he waited in his car from distance of the bus station to make sure she got her bus safely. In few minutes' rain started and getting heavy. He got worry more for her but he saw Sultan there in the station. RK thought in his mind

"Why is he here waiting for her? Are they a couple? Does she love him? I must find out. But how? Ok I will offer her to drop her home. If they are a couple, she will refuse to leave him and come home with me. If they are not couple, she will accept my offer. Because it is late now and raining and it is hard for her to get auto or bus now by making his mind. He drove to her direction

"Ms. Malik come I will take you home. It is getting dark now. And it is raining heavily. You can't stand here like this longer" RK

Madhu thinking in her head

"I can't wait any longer because it is bad for Sultan health. And he will never leave me here alone and go home. And I can't leave Sultan here alone under the rain. He is so weak and his health will getting worse. What can I do to save Sultan from this situation?"

"Sorry sir but I can't get in your car alone" Madhu

"So you will wait here under the rain alone? Or should I make party in my car and invite people in to get you in the car with me?" RK

"No sir not any people I will ask my neighbor he is standing there and our way is the same" Madhu

"Ok ask him" RK angry to hear the word our addressing Madhu and Sultan together

"Sultan can you please come with me cause I can't be in his car alone" Madhu

"Sure Madhu" Sultan can't refuse her because he can't ask her to stay longer in the rain

Madhu went to the back seat and Sultan get in the passenger seat.

"Sultan right?" RK

"Yes" Sultan

"We met before" RK

"Yes at hospital when uncle Malik was ill" Sultan

"So you still studying?" RK

"No I'm a lawyer" Sultan

"Good. your work is near Madhu's faculty?" RK

"No it is in the other side of the city" Sultan

"Strange but I saw you many times here taking the same bus with Madhu" RK

"Yes I have a friend here I visit him a lot" Sultan

Madhu stayed silent all the way to her home. Her mind was occupied thinking of Sultan and what problem he would face that cause all this pain in his eyes. She tried to look at him in the rare mirror but she noticed RK looking at her. So she decided to look out the window all the way and say nothing. She was afraid that if RK noticed anything from her looks to Sultan he would taunt her as usual and hurt her. And in this time with exams pressure with Sultan problem she doesn't need any more problem with RK. So the safest way is just ignore him all the way look out the window say nothing at all

They thanked RK when they reached home. And left him alone to his thoughts. He was thinking in his head

"It is clear now that Sultan loves Madhu so much. But what is important for me does she love him or not? I don't think so. I watched her all the way. She didn't look at him at all. Just once I think it is accidental. And she didn't say a word to him all the way. Madhu doesn't love anyone I think. She just focusing on her studies. And that is the most important for me

After a week

Madhu was going home from college with Sultan walking beside her when she noticed that he going to her house with her.

"Sultan. Do you want something?" Madhu

"Yes I need to tell uncle and aunty important thing" Sultan

Madhu heart stopped thinking that he will confess his feeling for her parents

I'm worried now, why is Sultan going to talk with Madhu's parents. Hope he doesn't confess his feelings for Madhu. Did he fall sick on hearing RK's proposal for Madhu. Good RK told about his feelings to Padmini and told her to wait till the exams are over 'coz he doesn't want to disturb Madhu's studies.
