Posting in a really long time but after reading this entire thread, couldn't control.
To be honest, I watch this show for Shivika and Narbhi. They are the main reasons but since the forced separation track the interest levels have dropped substantially. There are times when we get lucky enough to get a good scene or two for Shivika and we get back to watching in the hopes of similar scenes. But they rarely come. Sitting through hour long episodes without concrete storylines was torturous enough. Despite the show coming back to half hour, they still have nothing to show. Forget Shivika, the other couples too have half baked stories and random comedy being shown. Don't understand how difficult it must be for the writers to write something decent which doesn't put the audience off...
The writers seem to totally forget that the genre of ishqbaaz is romance or drama and not comedy. While their comedy is fine but they need to draw the line. You can't go out of character to justify a track that lasts for 2 days. Heck, you can have some more concrete stuff than mindless n headless comedy.
Given the interest levels of ardent fans are on a steady decline, not really sure how long this ship floats. The end seems near unless Gul and co do some damage control.
