@bold Yes, we had very few substantial track.. Personally, only the old-age insecurity track and the recent jungle sequence were substantial.. I really liked the concept of the old-age insecurity track.. patiently waited for the bench scene.. Ignored the crappy editing.. Enjoyed the scene.. Execution-wise insecurity track was badly executed.. 5 min scenes spread across a 30 mins episodes.. and such 5 mins for 7-8 episodes..but I still like it for the concept and the acting.. So, I really don't care about SS.. but I do care about some substance, some continuity, some respect for your characters and their 400 episode long journey..

CVs always use bait and switch.. since the beginning and I was prepared for a BIG SHIVAAY FLIP after the bench scene.

First hug -> Daksh track/Hate wedding

Daksh MU cleared -> bache ka baap

Anika ILU in toofani jungle -> Lohri and hospital sequence

Biwi declaration -> Shivaay is kidnapped and cars are doing donut around him..

Jungle track -> Nayantara enters.

First engagement -> Seperation

Shaadi -> Shivaay is kidnapped again and comes back with Tanya..

Recent Jungle track -> Bareilly track..

Bench scene -> ?? 'Hot girl' *head-on-desk*

CVs use reboots.. to bring back the freshness and I was even prepared for that... So, I really was prepared.. 😆😆

But this Goa track BTS.. did Tai Tai Phiss of my preparation.. NO MENTAL STRENGTH left... Except Tia none of these extras were ever needed to move the story forward or to the end of 'arc' scenes.. As you mentioned somewhere, there were other ways to highlight the issues whether it is Anika's insecurity, or the way Shivaay wants to be the lone wolf - Tanya track or the current trust issues.. But the CVs are hell-bent on these 3rd angles - use this bait-switch approach.. pal mein tola approach! *sigh*

And on top of this Gul ke insta pe uska naye Gul made me laugh and frustrated me at the same time! 😆😆 I did not like the way she dismissed the fans or the cast/crew of those IB episodes which fetched her TRPs.. At-least fact check your claims..

So, IS THIS IT? I don't know BUT At this moment.. too tired to speculate about the future.. too tired to figure things out.. too tired to reconcile with the status quo.. Even I signed up for Shivaay-Anika and now, I am taking a well-deserved break!

P.S. Sorry about the long post.. I needed to vent and I thought I'll use your thread! 😆😆

This is just the limits so aaj they get drunk and do dance tomorrow waht have a ONS with other women imagining them to be their biwis yeah right okay and that will be termed as fun as this is being claimed by many people ke bas mazaak hi toh hai acha.

I know we are not allowed to mention other shows but pardon me i have too here she did the same inQH made asad sleep with tanveer on his wedding day under influence so yahan bhi kar degi. Ekta has used this a gazillion times in her shows to create a stupid MU but yeh rukns the essence of shivika and even rikara if there is any in first place abhi they are making promises saying sorry and then what next moment

Phir lambe lambe dialogues of trust ishqbaazi promises yeah sure

Hum yahan bache bhethe hain na dhoodh peete ke bhai sab fun hai jisko pata nahi hai line kahan draw karni hai

Ek taraf trust ki baat doosri taraf yeh ek taraf shivaay sab theek kar dega yeh theek kar raha hai shivaay?

I've supported their bs a lot like a lot of you but yeh segment is literally the end and now there is no way you can even enjoy the builduo to this bullshit whatever the sensitive plot is here how are we supposed to take anything they say seriously now how?

This is the shivaay who never lost control even when drunk but NKK ke saath class bhi gaya tel lena

And whoever is giving the justification ke drunk hain blah blah blah plaN HAI KISI NE PLANT KIA LADKIYON NE BHEJA ETC IT IS OK STILL THEY DID IT WHATEVER THE REASON MAYBE THAT IS TOTAL LOST OF RESPECT RIGHT THERE . I am with you in regards to Gul and her impossible storylines. The PH sends a mixed message, some weeks IB gets Shivika-centric, other times, it is OBros-centric. They've never been consistent in this regard, so its unclear as to what Gul ultimately wants to portray. But one thing is obvious is that further Shivika development has been hurt by relegating them to pure comedic entertainment.

Absolutely agree on the idea of giving Anika a separate track to explore her vulnerabilities rather than squeezing them in bite-sized amounts here and there. It's clear that there are a lot of underlying issues that still need to be addressed. I did like the confrontation between Shivika in the bedroom scene today. They looked like they were on the cusp of finally talking about the forced marriage from a year ago. However it devolved into slapstick comedy in the hall which for me was quite a turn-off, because there's been comedy overload for a while now.

The upcoming car scene with the hot scene is going to be just another filler but it absolutely does not make sense considering the current track in the show. The guys aren't actually going to cheat per se but I do think it's OOC for Shiv and Om to be pulling this stunt. Especially since Shivaay spent all these dialogues on "vows", but then hasn't been honest since his re-marriage nor has he spent much time with Anika, and Om just got Gauri back. And let's face it, the guys would never be ok if Anika and Gauri pulled this stunt with a hot guy in a hotel room. They would flip the hell out. So for me, if it's not going to be ok for the girls, then it shouldn't be ok for the guys. I'm all for equality here in this regard😆

Couldn't agree more with your post.

It's not an issue of SS, but its the lack of story since the separation. I'm genuinely confused by all their decisions, but I'm not shocked by the self-destructive behavior. It's what they do ruin good things. None of their brilliant ideas worked, but instead of learning from their failures they stick to their bad ideas. I'm fascinated by their determination. I don't get it, but it's entertaining to watch their decision-making process 😆

Shivika are a family pass-time nothing is their own anymore. There are so many tracks that they could go with, but it's the same thing for months. Butcher Shivaay so he messes up then he apologizes with a forehead kiss and she forgives 😆 Nothing is ever addressed and they move onto the group track. Actually, no character is held accountable for their actions anymore because of the random jump to comedy. I'm not sure why they think this will work? Do they actually read the "market research" she always goes on about? It's been painfully obvious for awhile that this isn't working for any couple and the show. I don't understand why can't everyone go back to their own story? The time the writers waste with pointless tracks like this each couple could have had several tracks to themselves. Instead the writers spend so much time and energy with these filler track that they end up being scrapping midway anyway. There is no conviction in their writing, which cause more inconsistencies in an already badly written track. The Goa track original story will be scrapped and some random twist will be added, which make it even more meh.

I watched the episode because Twitter seemed to like it the episode, but I didn't enjoy it. The random closure to the weeks of DDLJ was an epic fail. I'm not interested in forced interactions, color-coordinating, married men being crass with random chicks, and adult women with their childish antics for "comedy". Girl gang following men around, no having no life, having nothing to talk about other than what the men are doing, or being lame in general isn't my idea of comedy. 400 episodes and Anika only got a mini insecurity track. Aniri track will last 4 episodes at the max before it's back comedy or let's all trip and fall together.

I'm not shocked or surprised by her comments she rarely values her actors (minus one) 😆 The show has been on decline since evil Pinky overdose. DBO never stood a chance because the writers cared more about the villains than the actual leads. I'm not a writer nor do I own a PH, but I don't think it's that difficult to write 3 individual and unique stories. Comedy seems to be their safety net, but when its presented in a way the audience isn't grossed out by then it's a failure 😆

The BTS segments are hilarious and pretty dorky tbh. It looks super awkward with these 3 guys and one chick😆😆

And add my favorite girl Svet...she's back too😆

exactly - i just saw and dorky is the word 😆

and to me it looks like someone's dream but i could be wrong. i didnt hear the voice - over as they always have weird music playing and reporters talking weirdly 😆 so may be i didnt get the full gist yet but they seem to be running out of ideas and fast 😆

ad is svet coming back with her ice box???????? and doctor drake who she killed 😆 - i will die laughing if that happens

@ Ruz, just saw the segments...it will be another Third girl blackmail on the couple...Only change is She will blackmail all 3 boys...Rest as usual stuff... Atleast what i got is they dont know what happened , looks like they were drugged...what ever it looked totally dorky...the female actress was... She is going to be in OM soon...

The girl is daughter of Pinky friend...😕 dont know if Pinky behind all this or Abhay...
