" Kaamakhyam kaamsamppanm Kaameshwari Harapriyam I
Kaamanadehi me nityam Kaameshwarim namostute II "

" Kaamakye varade devi Neel Parvat vasinim I
tavamdevi Jagatam mata yonimudre namaostute II "

It was quite good epi today. This show does'nt follow any Book version. Its more about interpretation of various forms of Goddess taken from different stories. Kamakya version is one of them.
Best part was explanation of Panchamukhi Kamakya. I was always amazed by this form. This Panchamukhi Devi is worshiped with Panchmukhi Mahadev.
Lord Shiva too takes different forms to match his consort.
Significance of Kali Chaudash followed by Lakshmi poojan the next day was shown well.

One genuine explanation about this show's version of story is, almost all stories are repeated in each kalpa with some exceptions. The one shown today may have happened in one of the Kalpas & the other version of Satyabhama killing Narakasur could have been from other Kalpa. Since Shrimad Bhagvat is more popular so Kali's version is less known.
There one more story in Devi Puran. In one of the Kalpas, Mahadev was curious to know, how it feels being a woman. To fulfill his wish Mahakaali was born as Krishna & Mahadev took form of Radha & Krishna's 8 wives. Vishnuji wanted to be Mahakaali's brother, he took birth as Balram. Mahabharat happend too. Draupadi had Mahakaali's energy. In other Kalpa, Vishnuji incarnates as Krishna. That version is known to all.

Nice post yesterday and even today's episode was quite good.
Completely agree with this statement of your's
"This show does'nt follow any Book version. Its more about interpretation of various forms of Goddess taken from different stories." If this is accepted than the disappointment wouldn't be there to start of with. And there are so many versions and scripture that at times it becomes difficult to know which one is been followed; it seems like more or less only Stories of Goddess from different book; version etc is been shown; not following anything (particularly) Agree :)

There is a lot to be learnt, understand. The scriptures involving various aspects of Devi are many. Each form has special significance. More you know about her, fascination to understand the mystery around her grows too.
"Jai Mahakaali".

Hi all,

Hope you had a Great Diwali!

The episodes of this weekend:
- I am sure UN is visiting this forum. He had Narakasur asking for forgiveness -
do not know if this was a part of any of the versions of the known stories,
but it was good to see.👏

- Pooja Sharma did a great job. Expressions etc spot on.👏

- I have to say Pooja Sharma's acting is leading from the top, in all things.⭐️

- Also, they have laid a small stone for the arrival of Ganesha. Mahakali roop
of the Goddess is my favourite and for me the most lovable is Ganesha.
Ganapati Bappa Morya.

So am looking forward to his arrival, impatiently.😊

Its so amazing to know different story of adi-shaki.. we all knew there were many kalps in past... even before pralay and manu there was mankind also...

@HearMeRoar,

In past Asuras, who were killed by Devi & Vishnuji were born as Kings. Brhmaji requested Devi to kill them. She said they are Kshtriyas now. They worship me. I wont be with them in war. But my Bhadrakaali form will be born in a Shyam form, as a male child to Vasudev & Devaki.
Vishnuji will be born as Arjun, Dharmaraj as Yudhisthir etc.
A king called Duryodhan will insult Krishna (Draupadi), who will be born as my ansh.
In the war, I will create Maya, all warriors fighting against each other will get killed. Its Me who will kill them.
The end differes here. Brhmaji requests Krishna to return & take her original form. After that Krishna, Balram, Pandavas with Draupadi. They came at the sea shore. Brhmaji gets a chariot carried by Lions, he waits in the sky. Suddenly Krishna takes Mahakaali form & sits in the chariot, returns to Kailash. Draupadi steps in the sea & immediately merges with Mahakaali.
Balram & Arjun takes Vishnuji's form, returns to Vaikunth. Yudisthir with his bros returns to their abode.
Rukmini & other pattaranis of Krishna takes Shivji's form, returns to Kailash.

Narakasur asking for forgiveness is not because utti visited the forum.
He had to bow to the mother, that is the reason we celebrate naraka chaturdeshi.
Again here there are versions.
The supreme mother is simply powerful energy whether she is Parvati Lakshmi bhoomadevi or satyabama.

Excellent post completly agree with you as a kid I have always been interested in mythology shows and scriptures; our cultural belief varies from people to people; our History is so vast it's difficult to pin point what's true and what's wrong; Narkasur is killed by Krishna is a popular belief and this is which most of the people know but in our state there is another belief of Naraka Chaturdashi so it actually varies from people to people
