Pyaari_Puja: I totally agree with you. This whole letter reeks of bitter self-righteous jealousy. It's blindingly obvious how this woman would love to be rich & famous, or known atleast. So many people shit all over celeb's & everyone congratulates them. It's so sad & cheap.

This was too harsh
if you will stoop even lower in trying to make a point..it would be pointless

getting this personal

and generalizing muslim community to this extreme.
no it does not happen with every muslim girl..and they do enjoy their choice as well and hijab is not forced upon them..

i agree religion is very sensitive..so to tweet on something related to someone's belief can be very offensive..twinkle should be careful but this letter was in such bad taste that it lost its meaning..

that was brutally honest...agar main twinkle hoti to sharam ke mare mar jati...something really bad must have happened for that person to react as such.

Is Karwa Chowt around? (There is no practice in South India and we don't watch television soaps). Every year I will come to know through tweet of these "feminists" 😆.
Do these women have such fashionable views about other religions too? Like women practicing Hijaab? It would then become "intruding personal choice/right".

Not even in Maharashtra and among North East Indian .

When this festival is not even pan Hindu festival then I don't get yearly discussion of this particular festival .
Many ladies starts celebrating KC because its associated with romance.Believe it or not KC today is desi valentine days with huge marketing.
I think it's harmless festival and strengthen bond between couple especially when I see men also observed KC fast along with their wife.

It's very common time pass nowadays for these famous and out spoken people to meddle in their own religion related affair to get the limelight and other party to jump and attack someone else's religion related practice 😆
BTW why is she always active around karwa chauth time ...i mean she doesn't want to do then don't do it and those who want to do it let them do it...it's not harming anyone else 🤔 and anyways i find it to be a beautiful tradition ...a way of expressing love to each other as a couple ( which one hardly does in their day to day busy life ) and besides women get to do lots of saaj /shringaar and get ready like a bride ❤️😳

I know not all may agree with me. but damn I loved this letter. Why can't people live and let live! Fine you don't agree with some rituals. As long as they are harmless, I dont see the need to force ur "opinionated" opinions on everyone else! or to directly/indirectly insult others beliefs. anyway, never did like Twinkle's stubborn, rigid opinionated and sometimes insulting words!
