Are Laila and Promila supposed to be intersex or female?

They introduced themselves as women from the women's organisation 😕

So they're actually supposed to be women? Awkward...

But Preet and Simmi exchanged skeptical looks when they introduced themselves.
It's almost as if they thought they are intersex people, but were too polite to ask them if they were 😆

From a long time that's how it is projected in all TV shows and movies 😆 Surprisingly everyone in the story consider them as women but we can clearly see through the facade and wonder how come the characters were dumb to not see through that 🤣
