It's hardly illegal in many countries because hard to prove and to define.

Intentions of making it illegal are close to 0. So it's not going to be a law anytime soon.

also let's be real women are still thought of as property.

Most men wouldn't have sex if arranged marriage wasn't a norm.

Imagine taking that away from them?

Because sex after marriage becomes a right of tge spouse. In events of continuous denial of sex, a divorce can be filed.

The same reason why adultery is a crime for men, but not for women.
Or why wife gets alimony from the husband after the divorce, if she's not financially independent, but not the other way round.

Wife is a property of husband according to Indian law.
