The film that revolves around Kriti Sanon's character Bitti has collected Rs 75 lac on Tuesday maintaining consistency at the box office. Ayushmann Khurrana and Rajkummar Rao's performance has been one of the highlights of the romantic comedy which has garnered Rs 25.42 crore in total. 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' is holding its ground despite many new releases this week due to its unconventional script, brilliant performances and quirky one-liners that's winning hearts all over.

Finally i found it..
ok i saw the film yesterday and literally can't get over it. actually can't get over Rajkumar.. a very sweet simple film. but when i finished the film, my whole mind is saying Rajkumar Rajkumar and his dialogues.. first time kisi bw Actor ki acting pe flat ho gayi main toh
I have never watched Kriti's films before so first time I watched her performance and she is really good.
I didn't like Ayushman's character. I found him mean selfish. he thinks for his need he can do anything and that's correct. He always used Vidrohi and just because he is emotionally weak, he never gave him priority like he has some opinions too, he has his own life...

overall it's a 3.5/5 from me. Rajkumar totally stole the film.

Your review is completely on point! After watching Nil Battey Sannat', I was looking forward to Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari's works and Bareilly ki Barfi really lived up to my expectations.

As a book lover myself, I can understand what is to be when you understand and be a part of the book you read. So when I read the review and saw the trailer on Cinestaan about how the movie, it really caught my attention. After all, it is quite an adventure to hunt down the unknown author of book you have fallen in love with, with no source but only the local printing press owner you have never met in your life?

And yet, a young girl like Bitti managed to bring alive this adventure which her charm and witty character! It is very refreshing to see the lead character taking a stand if not a step forward to chase her dreams and actually make it come true. Not to leave out empathic Chirag Dubey and the antics of Pritam Vidrohi who balances out Bitti's adventure. Even Bitti's parents, Narottam and Sushila Mishra potray the literal parents who are completely different from each other, and yet make you enjoy their parental capers together.

But what makes the movie truly iconic and touching is the fact that the cast has easily and efficiently portrayed their respective characters, just like the boy/girl/parents next door. There's no royalty, there's not spotlight, there's just plain chaos and the fun in it that they have to offer you.

Finding your true love with a twist has never been so much fun, as what Bareilly ki Barfi has offered me.
