I had almost come to believe so many things and all were wrong guesses . But i do not see it as my shortcoming to read between the lines rather your brilliancy at story telling. You were able to create that illusion that he was alive all along. Such refined writing.
A salute to you Zarin for this. If you have written more such stories let me know.

@blue - me too..at one point in time I even thought of a possibility that Geet has come back for a revenge and it is going to be against Maan :)

reading the story again, now with the knowledge of the revelation it did..

while reading it again, now the initial lines look so meaningful..
somewhere I had read, one way to look at this poem is, it is like a reunion with the beloved one..and it perfectly suits here.

previously, the wrong doing word had kept me confused for a long thinking about all the other possibilities in the story...now I can understand when you said, you started with the ending for this story..
this is the end, them meeting again where the terms right and wrong, life
and death have no meaning..where the anger, hurt, guilt is all left
behind..and where the mind is pervaded with only feeling of deep love. </font>
