Before anything this line was "it"for me.
"That's not good enough,"
As this line for me, marked the questionable onset of transition for the character.
I was thrown into no- man's land by the first chap.
Geet depicted a very uncanny and dark persona in the beginning of this SS.
I was convinced until the very end of chapter 4 the Geet is immune to life and she does not give tinker's damn about anything else.
But chapter 5 was the game changer for me, the words, plot, dialogues squalled to me like a newborn "she cares and she cares heck out of it"
I am never the one who complains about size about the update , because I believe *good things come in small packages *
Your masterstroke for me was the title .( Rumi saab too)
For me smokes and mirrors was Geet's desperate attempt to escape from the truth and her realities with such a shaky conviction.
She might have been successful in obscuring the Mob but she failed to escape her ghosts
Forgiveness in the end was liberating.
