I was thinking about this story now suddenly...her taking care of him...him being terminally sick...and him deciding to end it...in that moment I don't know what went through him...she has every right to be angry with him. I felt the same...

and six years it took to let it go...

I salute you for your imagination...the title! Wow.

I wrote a comment yesterday too but it got vanished...

and today when I thought about it, a story which our Surgery professor told us came to my mind...

The husband came with gall bladder carcinoma which has worst prognosis amongst all...and they were a young married couple...it was a love marriage...and so there was no support from either of the families...but the lady fought with whatever she had...doing everything possible all alone...the husband died in a year...but the silver line was she conceived in that period... Later on she came with her baby girl to our Surgery department...

I don't remember this as a sad story, I remember this as a heart warming story!

That was sad after six years she actually came back to just to forgive him it does show too how deep her love was for him and his death she obviously blamed him for taking his life which also meant her life

Its beautiful zarin. I am reading your work for the first time n trust me its just tooo gud. Geet and maan...dey have a sad tinge to them but evn that sadness is beautiful... Am totally hooked. Pls updt dear i just cant wait to read nxt.

This thread is special for me. Not just because of the story but because of the people i met here and made friends with. You know when you read a good writer's work you will tend to come across very good readers as well . Now that i am reading comments here i realized.
Whether be it Veil , susegad , ubiquitous , Flame of forest and many more i loved to read their views and take on the story.
When i had started reading this story, workload was less , i felt homesick and so i came on this thread often and the love i recieved here kept me bringing here back and again. After all a man is always in search of love.
And i didnt realize it was this easy to make friends .
Thankyou Zarin for writing thia and also considering me as one of your friends.

A brilliant and intelligent piece of work.
A gripping plot line so beautifully interwoven in such simple and few words.
I had almost come to believe so many things and all were wrong guesses . But i do not see it as my shortcoming to read between the lines rather your brilliancy at story telling. You were able to create that illusion that he was alive all along. Such refined writing.
A salute to you Zarin for this. If you have written more such stories let me know.

The last part of story was an unexpected twist.
It is a heartwrenching tale. Six years she lived with so much grief.
Ofcourse it is hard to forgive. You know sometimes i feel one shouldnt love due to the complexities but when does love seeks permission. Now i understand the implication of those lines that you used s an opener. Very few stories have the power to give you goosebumps and when i read this chapter i felt it. Loved it Zarin. Loved it so much.
Thankyou for writing this story and congratulations on the completion of one of your stories.

That is the best picture you could have used of Maan.
And that was really a heart warming gesture . I have never been specially mentioned in a story or anything so I really dont know how to respond. All i can say is a thankyou again.
