Yes Gayatri is genuinely happy to have her grand daughter and I am sure this equation will have a positive impact on Anami's life. And I love the fact that Gayatri is not imposing herself on the girl asking her to call Gayatri Dadi. She is asking her to take time to accept things. Yes it is not easy to forgive what has happened to Anami where she has been separated by birth mother.
And Vikram is silent. Unlike Baldev who bleeds his hand, Vikram is silent and Satrupa explained the silence. A girl is the heir. I had also mentioned that in my earlier post, Vikram's problem is if he accepts Anami openly then the girl of the family becomes the queen of Royal Steel which his patriarch mind cannot allow and yes if it was Vatsalya twin brother with DNA report coming he might have accepted it.
This might have also been the reason for Satrupa to choose the boy and leave the girl. The family wont accept girl as the heir and Royal Steel will go in wrong hands.

But destiny has forced a mother to stand up for her daughter. It has asked a mother to re write the history by taking away her son from her. Whether she can give her daughter her right. And this is what the patriarch of Singh family unable to digest. her bahu taking independent decision, his wife accepting the court verdict and not what he wants. Most importantly his grand daughter going to take the reins of Royal Steel.

He feels genuinely uncomfortable with women power in his family.

I agree with you but Satrupa is also one of them...Had Vatsalya been alive ,she would have never searched for her daughter and claimed her rights..

By far, since Anami has arrived, Gayatri has been most understanding towards her. I loved, when she says, it's not easy to forget past and accept the new family as her own. She seems to understand Anami's plight more than Satrupa.

And as for Satrupa fighting for her daughter's rights, would she have done it if Vatsalya was alive?
And why she herself chose her son over daughter?

I think Satrupa would have fought for her daugher regardless. but yes, her not having any interest in Anami before Vatsalya's death is curious.

I think the makers doesnt want to reveal too much about Satrupa too soon. She is an enigma ... what was her thought process is only gently touched upon and never completely shown.

she will have to answer all her action someday ... but only to Anami

@pri guruji told one child has to be sent away and Satrupa chose the boy. Yes the heir issue was there. But did Satrupa completely ignore Anami or had people to give her information about how the girl child is growing up. CVs have to tell that.
@Mimosa it is very clear the heir issue would be in mind for Satrupa when taking a decision on to send boy or girl. Anyways one baby had to be sent away and when she sent away the child it was expected she will never see the child again. So she did follow patriarch policy and again because of guruji only she bought back Anami

@mira Satrupa will remain as the woman with 7 faces and each of her faces will be revealed slowly.

Vikramaditya could be silent because Satrupa was right. or maybe he saw no point in arguing with her any further.
sometimes silence is the best fullstop for any argument.

if he is that extreme of a patriarchal mindset man as Satrupa insinuated him to be; he would have never chose her to be his 'beta' over his own son. power of attorney is with her. she was needed to give her consent for Avdhoot to take over the ownership.

and 'what if anami was a girl?' accusation was rich coming from the lady since SHE gave up on the girl child despite being clearly instructed to give up her first born (a boy) for the safety of the children.

my children's rights?
not the complete truth.

She has no right to question the man or expect him or anyone from the lal mahal to take her on face value.
and she most definitely can't pitch her tent on moral high ground.
she is guilty of the same crime she is accusing others of.

@Banjaran I had put in my post itself Satrupa kept the boy because of heir issue only as by that time she would have known the family.
Also the right was with bahu of the house and not beti. In a way compensation for her for making her marry his son who was already a father. Also he knew Satrupa will never cross the boundaries of being an ideal bahu and will obey him. He can always make her do what he expects her to do.

Now it is beti of the house. As per tradition a girl who will go to another house, so can the business empire be entrusted to the girl that way.

This is my view at this point, it can change also as story progress.
