Why actors that debuted in the early 2000 couldn't become big star?

Barring HR, all the other actors that debuted in the early 2000 couldn't make big in BW. Shahid Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham, Arjun Rampal, Zayed Khan, Tushar Kapoor, Aftab Shivdasani, Priyanshu Chatterjee, Vivek Oberio, Ritesh Deshmukh and all other actors couldn't go that far that debuted in the early 2000 but some of the actors that debuted in the 80's and 90's r still ruling BW like the Khans, Akshay and Ajay. There r some other actors like Saif, Sunnil Shetty, Sanjay Dutt and Anil Kapoor that r still surviving but most actors that debuted in the 2000 almost vanished.

It takes 15 years to come to conclusion who survived who is finished. None except HR, Abraham, & Shahid survived from that decade. By 2022-'25 we'd get the report card of these in-their-30s actors, too.

shahid kapoor, vivek oberoi, priyanshu chatterjee, and rahul dev are definitely talented. vivek is at his best in gangster roles and john abraham isn't a good actor

Story, script...and movie making at fault

if you look at the movies during these eras.. so many stupid love, romantic, romcom crap.

one theme u will find.. and that is the love sacrificing story. a guy/girl loving someone.. in return they loving their friend... then the friend scarifies their love for the happiness of their friend... W*F I am confused already.. even explaining that. smh

FYI 'Actor' is gender-neutral...

Anyway, I guess it's because the audience couldn't connect with them, they didn't take full advantage of the opportunities they were given and limited themselves to certain types of roles only, some of them didn't even know how to act - especially those that were given a chance only because their parents were famous.
