Today's episode was good in many respects starting with Shivika and Gaurika who have crossed another road in their journey together as a couple.

Title from Shrenu's insta post who was humming the song while shooting for the sequence.

First up, I have to say that the track of Gaurika and the idea of them going away was great. I mean, they never got a chance to explore what they mean to the other, how one feels and express what is on their mind. Gauri had made it crystal clear to Om that she considers herself to be only a bahu and not his WIFE.

Om's misconception on Gauri cleared but that has been largely ignored by the CV's and the couple themselves. Gauri is not clear on where she stands in Om's life, what her role is. She is a fiercely independent, street smart and cunning person. Loved how that streak came to the fore in the dangal scene today. All for good to win over evil. Om who always believed in the Truth at all times is going to learn that it is ok to lie or act smart for the greater good.

The understanding look between them when they looked at the hapless servant of the haveli to use him as fodder for the practice was fab. They were so much in sync here. The concern for his well being, restlessness at not finding him asleep, resting for the big challenge ahead, was cute as was getting tips from Bhavya on beating the pahalwan, making him bite the dust.

The focus shifting from Shivika to Gaurika was a bit disconcerting.. as the intensity of flow was interrupted. Thankfully no TejViLana to muddy up the proceedings. Did find the dangal extremely entertaining and fun. Both Kunal and Shrenu nailed it.

Gauri proved to be lithe and fast on her feet, leading the pahalwan on a merry chase and even climbed on his back to bring him down but he proved to be too brutish and he flung her to the ground like a speck of dust. The courage and spirit she exhibited are to be lauded. The connection portrayed between Gaurika was superb, the feelings that are inside, erupting in a gush that brought Om to consciousness and aware that Gauri fought the match on his behalf. Truly, his third eye opened and he downed the fellow in a single move. Must say again that Kunal was truly Brilliant here, his eyes raging, spitting fire and his nerves popping, his face red.. man.. it was 👏 What distracted me were his ridiculously long eye lashes... that made it awesome, enough to make a gal swoon. 😉

I was all for Gauri showing the brute a move or two.. only wish she had tied her hair back rather than letting it blow... practical move that was forgotten when she shed the jewelry.

Shiv Parvati's namesake Gauri-Om on spotting the beautiful idol of Shiv-Parvati with their sons was beautiful and their prayers to the divine couple, one of humility. The concern Om showed Gauri and his words echo what is in his heart, she means so much to him now, this little slip of a woman, his friend, his buddy Chulkara whom he was missing. The blessing bestowed on them by the headman was a reminder of what they are, a couple. Shrenu did a class act as the fierce warrior protecting her man's honor and word. Loving the progression in Gaurika.

Shivika... scenes in the chawl were cute. The teasing by Anika for drinking chai, to taking a bath was on the wish list of many..but alas.. she did not join or take up Shivaay's offer. Billuji was super cute with his... coming..saabun... cracked me up totally. The act to stop the demolition was well done. I just loved the fact that Khanna was the BOSS... bet he was sent there by dadi to check up on these two, to see if they passed their final test. The cute welcome by dadi on their return home... akin to a grihapravesh or a party coming home victorious.. the little plan between ShivRu.. what a lot of eye rolling here. They are upto no good... 😆😆 Anika's hackles are raised... she can smell a plot... let us see what happens... No Pinky to see her victorious and joyful son return home.

More drama with Gaurika coming our way and waiting to see how DQ outsmarts the BIG guys and saves her Omkaraji.

Very aptly and well written Nimmy... Finally watched the full episode ..Loved everybit of Rikara scenes today, well executed, but i wish screenplay was better as they switched between the couples.. Shivika and Shivya and Aniru scenes as well.. but it was Rikara day, need to appluad Harneet for this good track... Shrenu and Kunal just rocked today...they are different couple and it was shown perfectly as well

ShreNal owned yesterday's episode with their performance. 👏 They were amazing, the Dangal scene deserves a special mention! While I was all for Gauri battling it out with Balram on the field, I was low-key expecting the scene to turn out to be, umm, funny/lame(?) in terms of execution, like most action sequences on Indian television are but oh, boy! I was pleasantly surprised. It was shot and directed very well and Shrenu's expressions were on point. She did the whole sequence with such ease and aplomb, I was hooked.

Kudos to her, man. I didn't really mind the open hair, I think it added to the aura they were trying to create-it brought out the fierceness in her.

Kunal was brilliant too. Damn, I thought I was the only one who noticed his eye-lashes, lol. 😆

I really enjoyed Gauri's fiery avatar and courage to take on the battle for Om. It was quite humiliating to prepare so much for a fight and then fall on your nose and pass out...😆.. So she fought for his honour and family. Horrible underpowered but winning in terms of cleverness and quick thinking. It was like a "Lion vs Mouse" battle than had us cheering for the cutest angry mouse ever. I adore Gauri, seriously, she's got more guts than Annika. Never say die attitude is her forte.

After the furore about the "Dangal-SBS-bts" , I've learnt a lesson. Either don't watch any bts, or don't get engaged in discussions about the bts. Because most of the time it will turn out differently, and expectations kill the result. So, long story short, I enjoyed the wrestling match. Also the suggestive intent the night before where Gauri offered to be Om's "Wrestling partner" 😆🤣 *GMalert*

Shivika wise, the scenes were cute, but I am guessing they want to save weighty emotional scenes for when the Maestro returns. The 3 OBros had challenges in this track and growth, Rudy learnt that he must find a skill set that he's good at, and that it's not so easy to earn money. Om learned to defend honour of family over a cause, which he does not often do.Stepping out of his comfort zone to defend the family's honour is something he often left to Shivaay.

Shivaay aced his challenge quite easily, he made staying at a chawl look like a cakewalk, only because Annika was there. Til the night it was beautiful. But the next morning just faded away for me, like the writers got busy somewhere else, and a stand in wrote the scenes in the last minute.. I don't often criticize but i didn't like the Chawl demolishing scene.

But the return home was quite adorable. Dadi was admiring the way Shivaay was showering flower petals on her. It was so cute.. Rudra reminding him that this is his house..😆..

Episode went to RiKara, and it was good. Gauri's got grace and poise and courage.👏

Finally the makers realized the acting skills of the talented actors and gave them an opportunity to show their ability. For the first time I respect the director and the writer. I like Shrenu's steps when she fought with her competitor . Almost she did correct steps. I wish it should be continued.

I immensely enjoyed the RIkara scenes today, actually ever since they set out on the trip, they have been learning so much about the other, especially Om whose previous notions on Gauri lie shattered. he is seeing her in a new light and does not know what he is feeling for this little DQ. 😉

They are not run of the mill couple and that difference was starkly pointed out today and hope to get more of these.

As for the splitting of the scenes, dunno what it is they are trying but it was quite jarring to keep going back and forth.

Liked the family and Shivika scenes as well.. the entry was cute, dadi welcoming them in OM.How cute does Billu look with the tikka?

the practice and the training before the shoot, really brought justice to the scene on the screen.
Kudos to her, man. I didn't really mind the open hair, I think it added to the aura they were trying to create-it brought out the fierceness in her. I get the image of Devi Maa, in a fierce avatar like Kali avenging her husband's honor and family name. she was wearing a black salwar with red flowers, so it kind of fits in the image.

Kunal was brilliant too. Damn, I thought I was the only one who noticed his eye-lashes, lol. 😆
Nope you are not the only one nor I to notice that Kunal has long eyelashes... 😆😆 as I wrote enough to make any gal fall for him... 😉

Hey Anisa, nice to see you again. Missing your take but guess you are busy with work and the holidays. I like yr reference of the mouse bringing down the mighty lion and she was the cutest and the best looking mouse ever. 😃 she became a wife when she fought for Om's honor and family though she claimed that she was back only as a bahu. It was a slip by Om after all the moves he practised to fall on his nose.

Ok I missed all that hangama as I was busy and steer clear of discussions over these on twitter or insta. I catch up if something is posted here else skip it. True that, the expectations turn to dust. The titanic pose was nice but it fell flat for me and for a whole lot I guess. I know...GM alert... when she woke up and could not find him on the bed... it had nice decorative pillows.🤣

It was light and breezy with some revelations to Shivaay. He was pleased to learn that Anika liked to watch film shows and was the wall when he learned of her abuse as a child at the orphanage. Rudra finally realizing how hard it is to earn money without his famous surname. Om accepting the challenge and taking a step that his brother took. Growth for the Obros all around in terms of their abilities or their partner's encouraging them in their own way to find their path.

SHivaay was like a little kid at first in the chawl, in the auto as well.The whole sequence was nice, just nice for lack of a better word. When it comes to Narbhi, adjectives are not enough to describe the feelings. They could have continued the convo when Anika confessed her fear of the dark,some talk rather than the morning after. They have shown a big double bed previously in anika's house with
sahib when she figured out the phukat raja poster. what happened to that bed? trying to be sanskaari and not raise the BP of the fandom who are clutching at straws for the SR / GM. 🤣 🤣 anything or a tiny thing is enough to set off the GM. LOL.

But the return home was quite adorable. Dadi was admiring the way Shivaay was showering flower petals on her. It was so cute.. Rudra reminding him that this is his house..😆.. This scene filled me with a fuzzy feeling and was ROFL when RUdra said it was his house. As for Shivika they were rather disappointed when dadi reminded them to be separate. 😆

Episode went to RiKara, and it was good. Gauri's got grace and poise and courage.👏 TOTALLY 😃

Shrenu did a fab job in the dangal scenes, her walk, her moves, everything just perfect. The outing is proving to be a good thing for Gaurika.
