Mohini's background

So I was thinking about Mohini and I was wondering how she turned out the way she did. Did she go through a bad incident which made her so evil? I know evil is in our nature but something must have nurtured It, right? I wonder what her parents were like, what her first husband was like...

Possibly she had a bad childhood. Most people with a bad childhood turn out to be unstable in their later years.
Maybe she was brought up in an orphanage where the atmosphere was not conducive for a young girl.
As she herself has never experienced family and family love, she isn't able to give that love even to her children.
Probably it was always the survival of the fittest and she has just learnt to be selfish because of that.
But as you said, evilness is in her blood. I am sure her parents were evil too!

And in addition to this, she probably had bad luck with love too when she was young.
This might have made her lose faith in family altogether.
Somewhere down the line she must have got the impression that all men are bad or men can't feel love and they must be used if she herself needs to climb the ladder in a society dominated by men.

She told Harjeet that her first husband betrayed her and left her with two kids. Initially, I thought she was lying and that they weren't even her kids (thought they were spies or something). Now that I know that they are actually are her children, the thing about her husband betraying her could be true.

And maybe she had a couple of other lovers who dumped her too.

No she is a con girl and has nearly about 20-30 husband she has cheated and Robbed them it was revealed by Mannu in older episode only. She is just using her Children to take revenge from pavanias . And pammi is the only one who reveal husband names from different places...how harjeet become fool? Anyway he and jagan are from same mindset. Wish someone beat these two moron ...

I somewhat agree with Harsha. I too think Mohini had a bad childhood. Coupled with some bad experiences in her youth must have hardened her evil side. Everyone has an evil side to them. But it is our experience in life and how we choose to respond to it, is what matters. And the survival of the fittest point also makes sense to me.

I'm guessing that after her first husband betrayed her, she got herself into the dirty business of marrying men and then running away with their money. Jai was her partner in crime and probably the only man, after her first husband, who she developed feelings for. Mohini is an interesting character, IMO.

Mohini's character is very interesting, no doubt!
Did she really have feelings for Jai or was her ego just hurt that he chose another woman over her?
