Next day morning ishita woke up and got ready and was helping amma prepare breakfast, when she told amma that she is going out shopping with Raman and ruhi
Amma was not happy with it. Why kanna,
Ishita: he asked for help amma, and it's for ruhi. It's not like we are going out everyday. He will be busy from tomorrow and he asked my help to select dresses for ruhi. I will be leaving at 10 , don't prepare lunch for me.
She left at 10 from home and was waiting downstairs when he came carrying ruhi. Raman and ruhi wishes her good morning. Ruhi kissed her and jumped into her arms.
Raman: Ruhi don't do that ...how many times i have to tell you, you need to ask before you jump on people ok.

All three left for the mall and they had nice time in the car discussing regular day to day stuff. They reached the mall and ruhi wanted to buy her doll first, so they went to the toy store.ishita helped ruhi in picking the doll, all the accessories to go with it. Ruhi was hugging Raman and ishita saying thank you and love you..
Raman: she got her doll and her dresses, now we get to buy dresses for this doll
Ishita laughed and said you are right she is a doll..
Next they went to buy dresses for ruhi. Raman and ishita started selecting from daily wear to party dresses. Raman is picking costly ones and ishita is arguing with him about it.
Ishita : I understand you want to take nice party dresses, we will take them but for daily wear and casuals don't spend so much, she is going to wear them for mostly 3 months and then you have to do this all over again.
Raman understood and said ok, but party dresses should be very good, she is my partner you know for all my business parties
Ishita looked at him skeptically, really
Raman yes everyone adores her, she has impeccable manners and handles everyone nicely. Actually there is party next week, would you like to come with us. My whole family will be there, so you won't feel bored..

They finished their shopping and had lunch at a nice Italian restaurant and returned home.
Ishita was tired but happy, she didn't want the day to end. She didn't want to think about her life.
Days were passing by ishita and Raman became good friends. She went with his family for his party and she saw a different side of Raman , that is completely different from what she saw until now. Their families also started accepting their friendship as both of them are happy and there is nothing going on between, but just friendship.
But the ladies in society started some gossips about raman and ishita and their friendship, so amma started her search for a guy that can accept and found prateek who is ready to marry even knowing she is infertile.
Ishita told Raman about this, and he asked her to be cautious about him. Don't let him think he is doing any favor by marrying you. You are beautiful, well educated and very hard working person and a genuine person. Just gauge his reactions and then if you like him and then only say yes, otherwise don't compromise. Life after marriage you have to adjust but don't compromise on whom you should marry.
Ishita thanked Raman. I know amma gets worried, but every time someone comes and rejects it hurts. I can't make amma understand. Thanks for understanding me..
Ishita we are good friends.. And at this age, it's rare to find someone like that. I'm happy I found you. Anytime... i'm here for you, ok don't worry , everything will be fine.
Ishita met prateek next day and she liked when he said he is ready to adopt. She said okay and went home and told her parents. She also called Raman and told him about prateek and why she said ok. Raman said ok., did you do any background check on him.

Raman: Mere budhu give me his details I will find out about him. It will be for my peace of mind.
She said Ok and she gave him prateek details
After few days Raman got all the details about him and asked ishita to meet him
They met at a cafe, Raman started talking

He picks and marries her and gets her dowry and property and drops her off at a place and goes for a next one. I'm really sorry ishita, he thought of giving her a shoulder to cry, but this is his madrasan, she will need his shoulder to cry when they are alone not in this public place .
Ishita was so stunned to hear all this, prateek behaved nicely when she met him, she couldn't have imagined him doing something like this... : how raman? How did he managed to not get caught for this long?
Raman: he might have given some wrong information, luckily we could get all these information about him, before anything happened.
Ishita: it's all because of you, if you didn't ask for his details to do background check, we wouldnt have found all these information.. Thanks raman..so what are we going to do now.
Raman: I'm going to call police commissioner and have him arrested and give justice to you and all the girls he deceived.
Ishita: Raman... please don't let amma appa know this, it will break their heart. I will tell them, he thought about my condition and cancelled.Can i ask you a favor, do you mind if ruhi stays with me tonight. I think i need her.
Raman: sure ishita, she will be happy to stay with you. You guys can do all the girly stuff. Are you going to tell your parents today?
Ishita: No, i will tell them once he is arrested, but i will stall amma not to proceed with the proposal any more..
Raman was getting worried, how she is going to be after all this, but she assured him, she will be fine..
After few days ishita still couldn't get over, what might have happened if raman didn't do background check on prateek.. She might be facing a very bad situation.. When she met raman for their daily night walks.. She said the same thing to him
Raman: ishita, please don't think about what could have happened..as it didn't happen.. And he is behind the bars now...I will not allow anything like that to happen to you.. But you need to stop obsessing over it
Ishita: i know that raman.. But i don't know how... it's like whenever i am free, my mind goes into thinking about that..
Raman : ishita i would like you to forget about this. Can i give you an advice.
I: yes raman, tell me
Raman: please don't let amma force you into making another decision like this. I think you need some break, to be yourself. Enjoy some time just by yourself. Be ishita. Not dr.ishita iyer, not amma's, appa's daughter, not my friend. I know you for a short time , but you think about everyone except yourself, it's not good , he held her hand and gave a squeeze.
Please think about it, just for a few days or 1 month. I'm not telling you because what happened with prateek, i felt it's the right time. If you need anything at anytime i'm here for you as always.
Ishita couldn't believe, this person whom she met just a short time back understood her turmoil and thinking about her and trying to make her life better. She don't know if what she feels for him is gratitude or friendship or respect or admiration or love. She don't want to give it a name for now. What he said is right, she needs break from all this routine and tensions, she wants to be ishita again, it's been a long time she thought about what she wants.
She looked at him and said, i need sometime to think about what you said. I need to talk to my parents and have to convince amma. Then i will think about it what i want to do.

Rama: acha then what are you doing now, interrupted me right? Anyways take a day off tomorrow, unless you have urgent cases, ask someone to takeover for you, I will book an appointment with the best spa in delhi for you and ruhi. Sh... don't interrupt.
Raman: Listen to me, ruhi doesn't say anything to me, but she needs a mother's or woman's company. My mom is old, she is busy with kitty parties and serials, she loves her but it's a different thing. You are getting what i'm saying right. If she stays tonight with you and spends whole day with you, she will be over the moon doing all the things, that she can't do with me and you will also have someone to pamper and not think of all the unnecessary things.. Raman: he laughed, so can i book the appt for you and ruhi
Ishita: no, one more person will be there, but on one condition i will pay for all the expenses ok

Raman: i will let you know once i book the appointment, and i will also ask maa to pack for ruhi to stay overnight and you have to convince amma to let her stay overnight.
After ishita reached home, she explained to her parents about prateek rejecting the proposal after he thought about her condition. Amma got really angry and was ready to call him and scold him.. Ishita stopped her from doing that
Ishita: Actually i want to ask something from you.. Can you promise you will at least try to understand
Amma: what ishu.. I always think of you.. Why are you saying like that

Ishita: appa, amma .. i want to take a break from work for sometime and go visit chennai.. And i need a break from all the matchmaking, please amma .. just for sometime.. I'm not asking for a lot of time, just for 3 months ok..

Amma: why ishu.. Don't do like that because of what prateek did.. I will find a nice guy
Ishita: amma.. Please... i need sometime.. I can't go through all this again.. I'm just asking for a few months time, after that whatever you say, i will do
Appa nodded: ishu, that's fine.. Take how much time you want.. We are fine with it.. Do you want us to come with you..
Ishita: no appa, i want to go alone, spend some time with everyone there and travel.
Amma sighed and relented to their plan..
That night after raman dropped ruhi at her house, she introduced ruhi to mihika and they both started teasing and taunting each other. That night all three of them played songs and danced and played some games, they slept very late after enjoying a lot.
Next morning ishita woke up with a good morning text from raman and confirming the appointment at the spa and told her he is sending the car to pick them up and that will drop them at the spa, and asked her to enjoy and relax with the girls. She replied back saying last night we had fun and i hope today will be like that.. Thank you for everything..
Ishita saw ruhi was sleeping cuddling into her, she caressed her hair and gave her a kiss on her forehead and got up to get ready for their spa day. When she got ready she woke up mihika and ruhi and asked mihika to get ready and she went to make ruhi ready. Ruhi was very happy as she got to spend whole night with her aunty and she is making her get ready like a mama. She let ishita do all the things, even though her papa let's her get ready by herself, except for dressing. She is enjoying all the love and pampering that ishita is showering on her. After ishita dressed her and styled her hair and asked her to go wish her papa good morning as he might have missed her.
Ruhi went to her papa's room and saw raman getting dressed and wished, good morning papa , she went and hugged him from behind.
Raman immediately gathered her in his arms and kissed her and wished a good morning and asked about her last night. She excitedly told him everything they did, raman got an idea and told ruhi and she agreed immediately. She wished everyone good morning and told her that she is going to spa to get ready. Everyone laughed at her excitement and toshiji has tears in her eyes and said to her husband, see bhallaji my doll is looking so happy. I don't like that madrasan, but ishita has been really good for my kids, they are so happy.
Mr.Bhalla: Haan toshiji, raman is also very happy.
Raman called ishita and gave the driver's information and asked her to not act smart and wait for the driver to pick them up from the spa also and ended the call. Ishita was scolding him saying raavan kumar what does he thinks of himself, he is ordering me. Mihika asks what happened akka?
Ishita: nothing miku, that raavan kumar arranged a car and driver for us to pick up and drop at the spa.
Mi: so, what's the problem
Ishita: there is no problem in that, in fact it was very sweet of him. Now he called and told me to not to use my brain and do what he says. What does he think of himself

Ishita: haan miku.. Anyways let's go it's time for the girls day.. I was actually going to pay for all the expenses today, now i'm going to charge it to his account, he gladly offered right, with a smirk she grabbed her purse and left the room, leaving laughing mihika to follow her.
