I don't miss CDs or cassettes. šŸ˜›
I like the portability of carrying thousands of songs in a small device, buying what songs I want and not an entire crappy album. I listen to more music now and it is a constant part of my life. Nope don't miss those bulky devices though a CD sound is better.

Neither do I. I love that I can carry all my favourite songs on my phone. I do miss the sound quality though. Sometime the song quality is atrocious and the vocals get hidden in the music which I the hate.

Miss those days Now we like a particular song we download and listen to it constantly then get bored in 4 days. Back in those days songs had bigger shelf life.
That time, buying a new cassette was happiness.šŸ˜› I used collect cassette covers also as if had photos of my favourite celebrities.

I am old school, I still listen on iPod. šŸ˜†. But I find it easier to separate the music because of storage plus find it easier to carry while exercising.. My phone needs all the storage for videos and its big in size. 😳

well surely, there are some warm memories associated with casette and CDs, the WAIT... the joy upon seeing dad bring a casette or CD, the way entire family used to be excited and huddled up around casette/CD, sometimes reading lyrics --- that happiness and warmth was different :)
Even now we all feel excited while sharing and obsessing over songs, but during those days it was kinda different.

And the way we'd fight and list down all the song to get them on CD hehe.. i miss it.

But I love this era too... the scope for music listeners is endless and the variety of songs/music available on internet is a blessing for any music lover. I feel one lifetime's insufficient for exploring all songs on net :D

As for singers, hmm... pata nahi yaar, I feel singers enjoy same recognition or popularity. One thing that I like about this era is, common people need not struggle and go through tedious processes of auditioning and running after music producers, only to get rejected even if they are very good. In this age, one can open a channel on Youtube, apne gaane lagao ...if you are really good, people will listen to you. I like that scope for singer-hopefuls has increased limitless - ly :D

Every era has it's good qualities I guess :)

Nostalgia just punched me in the stomach. šŸ˜†
I remember my sister used to posses 100s of cassets and then when cds came u used to Own 100s of cds. ā¤ļø
That wait for the cassets and cds to come out after release of songs was worth it.
