Padmavati Shoot Stalled Again! Ranveer Singh's Schedule Gets Postponed Indefinitely Exclusive

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati is in fresh trouble yet again with the shoot coming to a halt. The schedule has been disrupted, this time due to the on-going cine workers' strike. A source from the film's team exclusively revealed to India.com that a schedule with Ranveer Singh was supposed to go on floors from Thursday (August 17) but has now been put on hold indefinitely.
The source said, "Ranveer Singh hasn't been shooting for Padmavati since the past one month since Bhansali sir was completing the scenes between Shahid (Kapoor) and Deepika (Padukone). He was to get back on the sets from Thursday but now his schedule has been postponed. There is no clarity on when this portion will be shot next.
Ranveer has been on a break from Padmavati and that explains his different hairstyle and beard which are far away from his look of Allaudin Khilji. We wondered if he has started shooting for Gully Boy with Alia Bhatt in the meantime. However, a source close to the actor said that he hasn't even started prepping for his film with Zoya Akhtar and is only focused on Padmavati as of now.Bhansali's Padmavati is in trouble yet again! source further said, "The long, straighter hair (picture above) is not part of his look for any film. He is now busy with Padmavati and is yet to wrap up shooting his scenes for the film. Styling will take care of his look for the Allaudin Khilji part.
Padmavati is slated to release on November 17, 2017. Considering that it is a period drama, a lot of time will be spent in the post production stage as well. With these regular disruptions in the shoots, we hope the team isn't forced to postpone the release.
