She is NOT Overrated...she is very charismatic and the way she sings makes everyone go crazy abt her. She has stage presence because of her cute personality 😊 . Just because all the celeb judges adore her, doesnnt make her overrated. She is no doubt as good as Anvesha. They both rock!

I dont think Aishwarya is overrated... She has given som fab performances too.. Its just that she is not consistent enough and sometimes dips really low!

Anwesha on the other hand is a musical genius and the only one in the show to consistently get a Sarvottam all the time (and well deserved each one of those!)... And yet, I too feel that she is terribly underrated.. She also seems to get the least screen time among all the other kids!

I would say, its Aishwarya's hard luck that she met a competition on the form of Anwesha in the show!

I agree that Anwesha is the only one to get super sarvottams all the time and id deliverying one brilliant performance after the other consistently... I am sure, the likes of Sanjay Leela Bhansali and AR Rehman would have already noticed her and I am hopeful to see her singing for them soon...

But, when a show is judged by the public voting where most of them understand very little music, screen time does matter as that leaves a lasting impression among the viewers.. I feel Anwesha gets a raw deal there!

Suppose if she needs to discuss, then question is does she have that kind of attitude to discuss them? As far as I am concern will not like her to discuss them on TV, her singing does the talking and as far as competition is concern, she will be in final for sure... and already acknowledged. waise bhi contest jeet kar kucch nahin hone wala otherwise abhi tak 7-8 established singers to hote atleast...

No no - I am not talking abt any of the stupid AVs or any personal drama.. My complaint is from the production house - basically even in all the group performances, she gets the least focus from the camera.. You look at the articles that come out on the internet, she does not get as much coverage as she deserves... Her talent is awesome and needs a lot more support from all.. Thats all I am saying..

well I've said it time and again...I have always felt the judges and the guest judges are a bit biased when it comes to giving post performance remarks/comments.
Do i need to remind you of the Alka Yagnik episode...I am sure all of you were as taken aback as I was...
Having said all that, there is a big section of the big J, the junta, that doesn't consider it a singing show, for them it is an entertainment show(thanks to the producers), so the best entertainer(or the so called 'drama-artist') gets away with their vote

r u kidding amrita....you are wondering why she wasn't allowed to perform again,
well I will give you the answer. I will just like to remind you that instead of praising or encouraging Anwesha, the first thing that Shreya did after coming on stage was to start singing herself. I mean I was expecting the judges to let her sing again...to me Shreya took the limelight away from Anwesha as soon as she could. I haven't read anything else about this reaction from Shreya here on IF, so I figured maybe I was the only one who felt strange about this.

anwesha is kinda threat to almost all the present singers in bollywood~

Thats what I mean...Shreya is great...she is one of my favs 2 but why she cudn't let Anwesha sing again and why she immediately had to come on stage and start singing taking the publics attention away frm Anwesha, I cudn't understand.

Anwesha is no doubt a good singer. But Let us not get carried away with any one here. Anwesha or any other singer have a long way to go before being a threat to any established bollywood singer. That is going bit too far. May be best singers of future which time will only tell.

Remember for any contestant who is coming out of any contest takes them long time to make a mark. It took Sonu long to make his mark. Parthiv gohil one of a great male singer out of SRGM, it took him 10 yrs before getting a major break.

We all have our favorites who we love them too much and want them to be successful. But comparing them to establishes singer would be foolish IMHO.

No offense meant to anyone. Just writing out loud
😳

Shreya getting on stage and singing "Aami je Tomar" right after anwesha's rendition was noted by many indeed. It did not go unnoticed 😊

Agree with you Varsha ji. Likes of Parthiv Gohil, Bela Shende, Sonu are good examples of talented singers who had to work hard for years to get a break or two. Shreya is supportive and appreciative of Anwesha's talent. Yes, she got up and sang after Anwesha's mere dholna. But then again, it would be hard for Anwesha to sing solo after such a terrific and difficult performance. Poor girl must have been tired. Shreya was good support in the follow-up, encore performance. 😆
