Aishwarya...Overrated?

Hi All,

I've been a silent member of this forum for a while now, but I thought I ought to mention what I noticed in the most recent episode with Adnan Sami.

Aishwarya's performance on the Rangeela song "Yaaron sunlo zara" was at the most average. She forgot the lyrics and it showed distinctly in the lower tone she adopted halfway through the song. And yet Adnan Sami was all ga ga over her.
Anwesha on the other hand was classic with Khallas and yet all he had to say to her was ya good keep it up......

This I feel was blatant discrimination. The same thing happened last week when Soniya's powerful rendition of "Solah Baras Ki" just earned her an attiuttam and Aishwarya's half hearted one of "Raat akeli hai" earned her a Sarvottam.

Not fair this....Just my two cents

After downloading and listening to these songs i feel she is heavily underrated.😃

Aishwarya is wonderful trained singer. She came to this contest being everyone's favorite. I just love her voice. Bahut hi mithas hai uski awaaz me 😃 👏

A lot of us here at the forum are quite shocked and unhappy with the way judges and even celebs have underrated Anwesha.
As far as Aishwarya is concerned, I've got nothing against her, however, she still has a lot to learn, but again its a bit disturbing to c how they are hyping her up.

Anyways, firstly and sadly a lot of people in our country do believe the hype(howsoever temporary it mayb)
But, secondly and fortunately, I have no doubt that Anwesha's talent and hardwork has been spotted and applauded by a lot of people and its only gonna grow with time...
Having mentioned all of tht it still feels darn bad to c the way she is being overlooked...

I think she is not overrated because she has delivered some excellent performance in porevious episodes. yes, yaro sun lo zara was not that good but her past record is excellent. Therefore she deserves appreciation she got from judges.

on the other hand, i think Anwesha is underrated for unknown reasons. 😡

Both Anwesha and Aishwarya are child prodigies.Hard to choose between them.Maybe,Anwesha has a slight edge.But,as in cricket,it happens that some day a singer is not in form and the performance may look lacklustre-but that is because these girls have set high standards for themselves and for us.
They have got praises from judges and guests.Neither of the two is overrated.

ok i definietly don't think that Ash is overrated.
Even though she was not up to her par in this week's performance...she is a fabulous singer.
She is so down to earth also. She knew that she hadn't done her best in "raat akai thi" and she admitted it in front of everyone.
That like Pritam says idenifies a true singer...who can pinpoint their own mistakes.

She is no way overrated. She is fantastic singer.

Aish is a fabulous singer and she is not at all overated.

I think that most of us in this forum agree that Ash is not overrated! The ones that think that she is overrated...don't think her as one of their favorites on the show...which is ok. Everyone has the right to choose their favorites. But that does not mean that if someone is getting a bit appreciation from judges that they should be counted as overrated.
