RagNa OS: Of love And Happiness....

Raghav was in his bedroom on the couch busy with his laptop checking out his emails. Kalpi was sitting on the corner of the bed holding a cushion in her lap and putting her hand on her cheeks staring at her workaholic husband. "Stop looking at me like that Kalpi." Raghav said without giving her a glance. "Yeah I think I should have married Rohan." Kalpi said getting up from the bed throwing away the cushion. Raghav looked at her with his mouth wide open. "Who's Rohan?" He asked. His tone held a pang of jealousy. "My college mate who proposed me on our farewell day and I said a no because he was just a good friend to me. But you know Raghav. I should have said a yes. At least he love me." She said moving to the closet tieing up her long black hair in a messy bun. Raghav shut his laptop and got up to reach her. He grabbed her hand and twirled her around pinning her to the closet. "I love you more than anyone and anything else world." Raghav said with hurt in his eyes. "No. You love your laptop more than me." Kalpi complained. Raghav gave a little laugh over it and released her hand. He hit her head lightly. "Pagal." He muttered and went back to his laptop. "Hate you." Kalpi said in anger and went out of the room banging the door behind. Raghav looked at the closed door and smiled at his wife's childish antics.

Kalpi went in the kitchen blabbering to herself and cursing her fate for getting her a husband who was already married to his work and laptop. She was kneading the flour to prepare herself aloo paratha (oh my obsession with aloo paratha 😆) for breakfast and some creamy pasta for her husband. "How difficult it is to share you husband with someone else." She said to herself getting the potatoes to keep it for boiling. Raghav got a call and he came out of the room to get the signals properly. She saw him on phone and her anger level increased. She started banging the utensils on the kitchen top. Raghav saw it and smiled widely. He kept the call saying a thanks to the person on the other side of receiver. "What it is sweetheart?" Raghav said cupping her face. She removed his hand and went to the other shelf to chop chillies. Raghav slided his hands on her waist and put his chin on her shoulder. "I'm sorry darling." Raghav said softly.

"What sorry haan? You spend all your days with your phone and laptop only. We get weekends and that also you spend with your work. Do you realise how lonely I feel. All the time I think I'll get some time to spend with my husband this weekend but no. You love your work more than me. I think it was wrong of me to marry you Raghav." Kalpi said with little tears in her eyes. Raghav took her out of the kitchen and made her sit on the sofa. He kneeled down in front of her. He held her chin and made her look in his eyes. "Look Kalpi. I'm sorry. I really am. I didn't realise I have hurt you so much these days. You know how much I love you and what I can do for you. Leaving my work for you isn't a big deal when I can give my life for you happily. Okay you want us to spend some time right. We will. I think you know about the new amusement park that is inaugurated recently. We'll spend our day there. Then we'll have our dinner outside today. Go get ready. I'm waiting for you. Okay." He said with clear truth in his eyes. Kalpi hugged him and kissed on his cheeks in excitement and made her way to the room to get ready.

After few hours Raghav was in the car in his white shirt and blue denims. Kalpi also made her way out of the house in blue crop top and white knee-length skirt with her hair let lose and minimum makeup. She was in the passenger seat and Raghav her driver. Raghav checked her out and gave flying kiss to her that made her blush. Raghav started his engine and drove to the amusement park. He tried to steal his glances on Kalpi all the while to the venue. They got off the car and the head of the park was present himself to welcome Mr. and Mrs. Singhania. There were other staffs also present to welcome them. The lady staffs where ogling at Raghav and men at Kalpi. Raghav gave a deadly glare the men who were eyeing 'his' Kalpi while Kalpi heldhis hand entwining her fingers with his as a gesture telling those houseflies that Raghav belonged only to her and no one else.

They moved inside checking out for the best rides. Kalpi was scared of heights but still sat on the giant wheel on Raghav's insistence and she cursed her bad luck when the ride stuck when she was on the top. Her heart was thumping in her chest and she shut her eyes tightly and held Raghav's hands digging her nails in his arms. "Kalpi open your eyes. See I'm here." Raghav said to help her let of of her height phobia. "No Raghav. What if I fall." Kalpi said with fear. "You don't trust me?" Raghav asked. She opened her eyes slowly on hearing those words. "I do." She said still holding his hand. "Look there." Raghav said pointing towards the other direction. Kalpi gathered some courage and looked where she was asked to. She saw almost half of the city from there. She got a big smile on her face. "it's so beautiful." She said still looking on the beautiful city. "Not as much as you are." Raghav said proudly. Kalpi made an aww face and kissed him on his neck. "Thank you." She said in his ears. Raghav signalled the person operating the ride to move the wheel.

They both moved to the roller coaster ride and tested all other rides. Kalpi then sat on a bench all tired. It was almost evening and both had a good time. Raghav came with a water bottle and saw Kalpi sitting on the bench. "You tired." He asked giving her the bottle. "Hmm" she said and drank some water. "Time for dinner I think." He said winking at her. "I can't move." Kalpi said. Raghav bent down and picked her up in his arms and moved towards the car. "Raghav. Put me down. All are looking at up." Kalpi said struggling in his arms. "So what? You're my legally wedded wife. They can very well close their eyes but I'm not letting you go." He said giving her a smirk. Kalpi stopped struggling and gave in. She held her arms around his neck and kissed on his bare chest that was peeking out of his unbuttoned shirt. He put her in the front seat of the car and drove off to have some dinner.

After some time of driving Raghav halted his car near a dhaba. Kalpi got out of the little nap because of the jerk and fluttered her eyes to know where she was exactly. She looked around and saw a beautifully decorated dhaba. Raghav opened the door for her and put his hand forward. She got hold of his hand and came out of the car. They made their way to the dhaba where they were welcomed. They ordered for the food and ate like there's no tomorrow. Finally they grabbed a full glass of lassi in one go and laughed at each other like fools looking the milky moustache that was formed. They were told by another customer that there will be firework soon because they have a wedding in nearby village. Raghav and Kalpi thought to see the firework and ordered ice cream. They took their ice cream and went on a little walk to the bridge over the nearby river. There was little ice cream on the corner of Kalpi's lips that was tempting Raghav. Raghav neared her and licked the ice cream. Soon Raghav pressed his lips against her soft ones. She held his neck giving in to his kiss. There were firecrackers in the air possibly celebrating their love.
