Editing A Scene For Impact // Shifting Tones.

Okay first of all I'm definitely much velli to do this. 😆 Which I am thanks to the holidays. Secondly the editor keera inside me just couldn't resist this. Thirdly, the original scene:

I think most of us are irked by the forced rabbaves and the unmatching haphazard music and editing of the show. I think the biggest pet peeve with the editing is the fact that it's so in your face that it deters from the storyline. The scenes don't have a permanent tone and the music simply doesn't lend to the characters core values. I'm not a musician but I know that every single set of music is based on a theme. It's about something. It's catered to one kind of audience. Rabbave was catered to another set of characters and their core premises and conflict. It feels caked between Advay and Chandini and completely Advay needs to have the kind of music that's menacing and secretive with hints of seduction and Advay and Chandini's dynamic isn't about romance. There's a conflicting dual energy between them that needs to be represented in the tone of the scenes and the music.

So I tried to change the sound, tone and air of the scene by removing the rabbaves and ott visual effects. I'd to chop a few funny dialogues because I wanted to cater to a grittier theme. Just for an alternative scene sake.

Forgive the initial glitches and stuff because I'd to work on a dying laptop. Haven't opened it in eons but couldn't resist doing now. Editing in draft mode restricted me from seeing a few glitches so i hope you don't mind.

This isn't a criticism or taunt of the scene or show. This is just my personal take as a viewer and I know not everyone would agree with me. That's part and parcel of being different people and having different opinions.

I bet I could've find more appropriate tonal instrumentals too but for now this has been plucked from my music library. So here's a different take on the same scene.

Advay looked dangerous.. like truly dangerous..

I can feel that chandini is literally terrified on him..

This music makes more impact..

One just thought add one sec of soft music.. when she opened her eyes after blowing.

And when advay was stunned by their hand touch.

A music that says even between all the tension their heart strings still pull each other.. just one or two sec of soft music that's it

Haha thank you. I was just experimenting around with this to see how different or better the scene could be given a different piece of music. I used like 4 different tracks here with a few sound effects. Glad you liked it. 😳

It's funny how you have edited a scene better on your dying laptop and made it portray the promised "darkness" of the show's premise than the professional, paid editors of the show haven't been able to achieve with all their expensive post production and what not. Because this is what looks like an episode of a show where the ML is hell bent on using the FL for his revenge. That (original source) is anything but that.

MY PARTNERR!! my dying laptop is still making the most bizarre guzzling noises and the keyboard is half dead too. At least it finally rendered!! Thank you! and I agree the makers of the show need to enhance the technical aspects and literally do away with the forced rabbaves they'r unbearable.😆

Hey it was good. It make me realise how impactful that scene could have been more.actors r doing such good job but gul need to buck up technical team .fr bg its like they r trying everything at once n making khichdi .i wish they made ost fr them like they did in tanhaiyan. Advay chandni totally deserve that cause imo they are really fresh pair i saw after long.

U just changed the scene completely shows how important editing and bgm is.
The music used is so appropriate. It depicts Advay's intentions clearly.
The whole impact of the scene was lost due to forced rabba ve.

Very well done.
