No more months-long living 'floating through life' but being 'grownded by nature'. What fascinating (and certainly also demanding) things you could live smiley1

Thank you, Sunita, especially for insightful narrations (also through video like the following one) and all the best for the rest of your life smiley27

All the very best to Suni Williams in her retirement.

Lesser known fact about Sunita

She carried both a samosa (Indian) and Carniolan sausage (Slovenian) with her to space to honor her heritage.

Sunita is an inspiration to so many women around the world. I salute her.

Cheers..

I am surprised how she managed to stay for 286 days in space. She must be well-trained.

Best of luck for the rest of her life ahead post retirement! She's an amazing woman. She is an inspiration and has made her country proud! smiley27

Some 'amazing facts' about her!

She ran a marathon in space 🏃‍♀️🚀

In 2007, Sunita Williams became the first person to run a marathon in orbit, completing the Boston Marathon on a treadmill aboard the International Space Station (ISS) — while orbiting Earth at ~28,000 km/h.

Longest spacewalk time by a woman (at the time)

She accumulated 50 hours and 40 minutes of spacewalks, setting a record for the most spacewalk time by a female astronaut (later surpassed).

She carried Indian symbols into space

On her missions, she took:

A copy of the Bhagavad Gita

A small idol of Lord Ganesha

The Upanishads showing pride in her Indian heritage.

Glad she made back in to earth after staying so long days . Its not easy to survive in space that long where we loose our muscle mass eaily and get weak soon . Happy retirement to her . At times I wonder how dedicated these ppl are to take up career like this . And we know how they have their daily routine and even basic need like food , water and washroom needs adaptation up there in space .
