The episode starts where it left off on Friday. Advay asks Chandni to remember that she might have lied before. Chandni states that those who lie have something to hide, and she has nothing to hide. Advay whispers into her ear, she's a liar. Chandni is baffled, she says she is leaving, and he's doesn't try to stop her. He's clearly hurt at her lack of guilt or remorse. That's why he stops flirting for a moment, it become something more for just a moment. This is a betrayed friend speaking to his assailant. How could you say you're not a liar? Advay is enraged silently as she pretends like nothing happened. This is probably why the other scenes happen.
Chandni goes to her new room, she's confused by the man, one minute he's proposing and the next he calls her a liar. What is his problem? He called her a liar, what could she lie about? Her clear attraction to him or wanting to marry PP Baba? Chandni is likely unable to perceive what Advay meant thus makes her own assumption of said lie.
Shikha and Meghna approach Chandni, they try to cheer her up. Shiku and Meghna are like Chandni's thoughts fighting themselves in front of her. Shikha is not even for Advay and wonders why Chandni's always talking about him. Meghna believes Chandni and ASR have a thing. They are two thought that Chandni has, her inner conflict personified in front of her. Get it? They are like the little voices in your head bickering, that's why Chandni is mostly silent. She is the neutral voice that judged Advay based on how he has appeared thus far.
The topic turns to PP Baba, Chandni is not interested in him but this makes Indrani happy. Chandni is so unwilling for her happiness and simply acquiesces to Indrani's whims and wants. There is nothing in her self interest.
Side Note: Shikha has already gotten Veer, hope we see how tomorrow.
Chandni is still talking when she notices her sisters are sound asleep. Chandni was talking about the sasural system, I wonder if this is Gul hinting that Chandni isn't going anywhere after marriage. So that #NayiSoch thing is apparent for SP.
Advay appears in the bedroom, Chandni asks him what the heck he's doing here. Advay has all the haq, he walks right on her bed, with his shoes on. Chandni gets up and stands with him. Advay reveals that he put Shikha and Meghna in a deep sleep by adding drugs. He advanced to her on the bed. My guttermind has too much imagination. His hands hover against hers as she is pinned to the wall. Chandni is still not okay with him holding her hand like that. Advay knows this. Inappropriate touching is unnerving to the target, so avoiding in this situation is best.
Side Note: If this was me, Advay's legs would be broken for stepping on my bed with his shoes on like that.
Advay asks for her consent to pick her up. I've watch this a couple times, but it looks like she says yes but she is shaking her head. That's confusing. I think she said yes, so he picks her up. As they walk through the corridor, Chandni. Chandni threatens to make noise if he doesn't put her down. Advay follows suit, he doesn't mind making noise, he calls to everyone. Chandni silence him by covering his mouth. They eyelock. Man they eyelock a lot in this episode.
They arrive at Advay's new room, he puts her down. Chandni starts questioning him. This man is insane, he drugged her sisters to sleep. (Even worse, Chandni doesn't even tell them.) Advay silence Chandni. He plus a cover and the room become bright, engulfed with stars. He brought the stars to her. The stars surrounding her as she is the Moon.
Advay narrates a poem to her.
Neend Chand Aaye Agar Toh,
Taaron Ki Yeh Sej Bohot Hai,
Sambhal Ke Rakhna Haath Chandni,
Raat Ka Manjha Tez Bohot Hai.
This poem is interesting. It does have two meanings.
The meaning of this poem is that he is telling Chandni to be careful. In this poem, Chandni is both Chand (Moon) and Chandni (Moonlight). When she is asleep, he asks her to be wary of the night as it is sharp. Most assume that Advay is the Sun to Chandni's Moon which is half true, but in this case he is the Night. This is because not only is Advay someone surrounded with darkness but he is the person Chandni should be wary of. This goes to the scene where Advay is showing her the stars. The Night is associated with the Stars. The Moon doesn't always appear with the Night, but the Stars always come out at night. Since he is the Night he brought the Moon her Stars. Symbolically, the Stars are the epicentre of the Moon since they are so closely associated with it. Just like Advay revolves around Chandni, the Night and Stars do with the Moon. Basically, Advay (The Night) is serenading Chandni (The Moon) with Stars.
The two meanings to this poem are that he is telling Chandni to be careful of the Night out of concern and warning her of his threat as Advay is the Night. Comment if this doesn't make sense. This scene connects to the Garden Incident where Chandni fainted and was asleep as Advay was warning her of his storm. The poem actually closely matches it.
Soon after, a dupatta falls over Chandni's head, likely due to Advay. Advay tells her she can do what she wants but she will always be wearing the dupatta of his name. This scene is symbolic to the idea that when a man throws a dupatta over a girl's head and it successfully falls on her, it means that the man and the woman are meant to be together and no force in the world could stop it. That is the Truth, and the Truth is the Truth. Advay hands Chandni the coin, her shagun. Their rasams will happen at all costs, they are now ordained truly.
Chandni calls Advay crazy. He does look like he is denying it. She leaves. Advay talks to himself. They say people are crazy in love, but he's crazy in hatred. Chandni has no ideas what will await her tomorrow.
The scene moves finest morning where the Va'Sisters are in the kitchen. The lament over PP Baba and ASR again and how Meghna isn't getting any guys. Poor her, Chandni does get the spotlight. Shikha and Meghna play her conscious again, they bicker over as they throw the pepper back and forth. Chandni catches it. She's made her mind, he's a villain, Mr. Rowdy Professor. They tease her about the nickname. Meghna says that Chandni remembers ASR one way or another. I disagree. You both keep talking about him, how's the girl supposed to forget him. Meghna suspects that they might be connected somehow. Food is being made for the guys family, Indrani enters. She hopes with good fortune that this Roka will happen and thus the Vashishts will be at a good standing once more. Indrani is Chandni's good fortune, if she's happy, then Chandni's happy. This is Chandni's problem. She needed to stop finding her happiness in her mother's wants.
Advay has ordered everything, Chandni and her sisters don't need to do anything. Chandni suspects Advay's up to something. Chandni inquires where he is but he's out. The episode ends.
The episode was really good for progressing the story. I loved the AdvNi moments. They were just spectacular. Advay carrying Chandni was cute. I guess my favorite was the stars. The precap seems very boring because I suspected that Advay would sabotage Chandni. Are they going to end the Pratham track? Hopefully, he's not that interesting.
