Hi Guys,

I know some of the members here might not agree with my view point but do hear me out.

I noticed recently a complaint was filed against the zeetv show Kumkum Bhagya for having the same repetitive, regressive baseless story line and yet gaining top position in TRPs etc.

I'm curious to know if such action can be taken against shows like SaReGaMaPa Lil Champs - when the show started this season - it seemed reasonable - of course there was drama, the same flirtations between Adi and the female Judge, and Jayas's antics but now its become a joke. Every week its the same formula - waste time with Neha-Jayas-Adi triangle, same Bahubali drama and celebrity guests promoting a movie. I don't understand what was the need to extend the show? Every week it feels like they change the criteria for elimination and who is safe vs not - I don't think they ever clarified how eliminations are taking place. More over I hear they are auditioning again nation wide to bring in challengers? What sorcery is this? The children who have put their lives on hold as have their parents - who are working so hard every week, under all this pressure and stress are now being given an additional curve ball - where they have to not only compete with the existing kids but new ones??

Also why doesn't anyone stop this Jayas-Neha-Adi drama and Bahubali drama? Why does SMP's mom get so much footage? Why does Javed Ali have to appease or oblige her every time? Other parents don't do all this drama, why is SMPs mom so special?

The Jayas drama is pretty ridiculous he's 5/6 - what does he know about love, relationships and marriage? It was cute initially but now its so stupid with him competing with Adi and bringing Ma ke kangan etc - please put an end to this already.

Is there any way to get the makers of the show to hear us who share these thoughts? The show was supposed to be a talent show, a platform for children to showcase their talent and learn from some of the most established names in the music industry - what is this?

The show is around 1h05 without the commericials. The performances are at max. 20 mins. If you have ideas for the show on what they could do in the 45 minutes then, you should file complaint and present them with your ideas. Otherwise, I don't see a problem. They are doing great as far as Trps are concerned, that means people what they are presenting. The children are not complaining about not being treated well and also, if they have a probleme, they can quit at any time they want.
The only problem I have is the elimination process. They can't change it when they want. It's kind of unfair to the contestants and to the audience.

We have already discussed everything what you have written but unfortunately nothing is going to change. Renowned Bollywood director Shoojit Sircar has also tweeted about the issue and also some other known celebrities have raised their voices but nothing happened.

We have been complaining about this for a long time now in the forum.. Majority in social media have been complaining about this.. But the makers have turned a deaf ear to all this.. The judges even justified themselves against renowned filmmaker Shoojit Sircar's comment on kids' reality shows.. So there is nothing that can be done!!

The trp hungry channel has become blind with the high ratings!! If Kumkum Bhagya can still top the trp charts in no.2 position despite the complaint raised and Srgmp Lil champs can top with no.1 position, then nothing can be done!! Zee is getting its trps anyway so that's what matters to them.. Unless the trps go down.. Which I think will not happen.. Because trp aunties will still watch Kumkum Bhagya and fans of Lil champs will still keep watching the show to watch their favorites!! Sigh

The extension has ruined it all !! Kids have been made to keep singing endlessly with no final result. All of them are tired which is affecting their health and performances.. Their studies are being affected the most due to this.. Causing one of the best contestants Shreyan to take a break from the show midway to attend his exams.. And now the makers have no choice but to let it be because otherwise everyone will blame them for their unwanted extension!!

Introducing challengers is the worst thing that could happen to the show!! It will be unfair for both the current kids, who have been working hard for months, and for the new kids, who will not receive the love or fan following that the current kids earned.. But the most pressure will be felt by the current kids, who have been competing and will still be endlessly!!

Regrading Jayas drama, Neha should stop encouraging it IMO.. I don't think any other female judge would encourage it as much as Neha is doing!! And Bahubali drama, it is Javed who needs to stop it.. Otherwise these will continue no matter how much viewers complain !!

tually tm majority in the forum agree with you even i said this earlier i really want some one to file a complaint on this damn show so zee gets back to its senses ,it was fine before it became no1 it got there egos bloated

The worst thing is that after all this wasted time and months of dragging and extention, its very likely that they already have a winner. With SMP and amma dearest hogging compliments and footage along with jadoo bhiaya playing bahubali for ratnamala..the judges's endless standing ovations to screechy oodles and horror film choreography...showering badges for every performance ...is there any doubt who is likely to win?? 😡

I couldn't agree more - its so unfortunate - this happened last year also for SaReGaMaPa Lil champ 2016 - Arunita and Rydham were much more deserving but Gagan ended up winning :(

Likewise in the adult 2016 challenge - Jyotica was significantly more versatile than Kushal as was Senjuti but Jyotica didn't make it to top 3 and Kushal won :(

It's unfortunate coz Shreyan, Sonakshi, Yuma and Riya are all very talented especially Sonakshi and Shreyan but those will most likely not place in top 3 - its so odd how the "popular" or "entertaining" contestants come first - Gagan and SMP (not that I find her entertaining) but for some reason she's always favored - I'm not sure is that as per the channel or Judges?

This is why I somehow don't mind Shreyan taking a break right now.. Serves them right with all the partiality going on..

But will there be any top 3 anyway? The show has been dragging endlessly so doesn't look like they are gonna have finale anytime soon 🤔
