Serves the organizers right, go for it, class action. These so called event management companies (NOT ALL some are real good) take desi audiences for granted and worst part is audience fall for it. I have seen 5-6 events which I picked based on reviews and artists and so far so good.
Needless to mention I was super impressed by Arijhit's show, he is a hard core pro, who performs for his audience in most entertaining and sincere manner.

For any decent lawyer worth his/her money such disclaimers mean nothing and can easily be proven false advertising in the court of law.

For anyone living in New York and affected by this feel free to ask me if you need help filing a claim. You can easily take IIFA to small claims court the fees is only 25 dollars and you do not need to have a lawyer. You just need to type an affidavit explaining the incident, wear neat clothes and play nice.
