23rd/24th Written Update

Phew - finally managed to log in to I-F!😃

Here are the updates for Wednesday and Thursday....Apu and Jia are super cute😳, Mahesh really needs some classes in anger management but Dadi sems to have a solution to that....Also, new panga in the form of Ishita!

23rd January

Highlights:

• Samar gives Jiya a lift home
• Mahesh scolds Jia and gives her a 1000 lines to do
• Jiya stay up all night without having any lunch or dinner
• Kiran-Rohan scene
• Kiran questions Jia whether Apu did all the work properly

Update:

Epi starts with Jiya bumping in to Apu and both of the falling on the ground. Just then professor Gerry [?] arrives and in his own way threatens Jiya to keep her mouth shut otherwise he may accidentally say something in front of Kiran. Jiya looks uncomfortable whilst Apu leaves in a huff cause he has to clean the class room all over again.

Jiya's house...

Dadi is looking out the window when Jiya's sister arrives – a little advertisement of Jab We Met; Dadi plans to call all her friends over to watch the movie and Jiyas sister promises to keep Mahesh busy.

Outside...

Samar is driving when he stops at the sight of Jiya waiting at the bus stop. He smiles and reverses the car, offering to give Jiya a lift. She refuses saying that the bus must be coming and so Samar comes out and says that in his family a man is told to wait beside a woman standing alone. Jiya looks uncomfortable and tries to get him to go but Samar persists that if she waits he will also wait with her, whether there's storm, or thunder, or lightning.

Jiya finally agrees and gets in to the car with him. He watches her and says that being shy and modest is a woman's pride [?] and adds that even in this day his mum covers her face with a pallu. He slyly tries to get Jiya's sympathy by talking about his ill mother saying that if it was in his hands then he would take out once a week to visit his family but because of his busy schedule it's not possible. Jiya becomes thoughtful and Samar smiles before commenting on her busy schedule as well. Jiya realises it's 7:30 and she's late so tell Samar to get her to her house quickly. Samar calsm her down.

Jiya's house....

Dadi gives a worried look as she waits for Jiya. She whispers something in Jiya's sister's ear to get Jiya out of trouble who refuses but gives in when Dadi flashes some money. Jiya's sister takes Mahesh's framed degree and screams saying that it fell on the floor. Mahesh goes to look at it and Ddai changes the time back to 7.

Jiya comes in and apologises for being late and promises that it won't happen again. Mahesh without looking up from his work says that it's not late and it's only 7. Jiya realizes what Dadi did and hugs her.

Later...

Mahesh is sistting with Jiya and gives her some papers to look at but Jiya's mind keeps wondering back to Apu and Kirans words. Mahesh screams at her, bringing her out of her thoughts as she did the balance sheet wrong. He asks about the Profit and Loss account and doesn't give a confused Jia a chance to talk. She says that she doesn't know and he screams at her again and tells her to write a 1000 lines on a piece of paper saying that she'll concentrate on her studies.

Mahesh leaves and Jiya cries as Dadi shakes her head at Mahesh's behaviour.

Night...

Jiya is in her room still working on the lines when Dadi comes in and is upset at Mahesh for giving the lines. She goes to talk to him but Jia stops him saying that he will feel bad and besides, waking up for one night won't be a problem for her. Dadi gives a sad smile and kisses Jia's forehead. She offers to do some lines but Jia refuses saying that it's her punishment given to her by Mahesh and she can at least do this much.

Dadi leaves and Jia continues to write, again becoming teary.

Midnight...

Jia is still writing and is about to fall asleep when she notices the time and goes back to her writing. Dadi comes in with some food but Jia says she can only eat after the punishment. Dadi leaves the food next to her and hesitantly goes to sleep whilst Jia continues to write without touching the food. She finally falls asleep.

Morning...

Jia is at the breakfast table finishing of her lines and Dadi hurriedly comes in with some milk as she hasn't had breakfast but Jia rushes of saying she's late for office. Dadi is worried about her as Jia leaves the lines with Mahesh and goes.

RAD...

Rohan comes in to Kiran's room saying that after along time he had a burger from RAD and started remembering the old days. Kiran gives him a cold look and is frustrated when he drops some on her table. She cleans it up and he pulls out another burger from his pocket but at its squashed look he throws it in the bin and offers some of his. She refuses and he takes a seat in front of her. Kiran asks him whether she had asked him to sit.

Rohan gives a cheery reply and Kiran tells him he is disturbing her; he tries to talk about the old days but she tells him that it was their past and he should forget about it. Rohan throws his burger away and is about to leave when he stops at the door and says that she is the one who finds him annoying and can't stand to have him around – he then asks her whether it's him who hasn't forgotten the past, or her. He leaves and Jiya comes in five minutes late; Kiran screams at her as well as criticising her dress sense saying she looks like a nanny instead or working in an office.

Apu comes in and Kiran asks Jia if he has done all his work properly. Jia is unable to say anything and Kiran says that Apu should now be prepare for his punishment. Apu gives Jia an angry look.

24th January

Highlights:

Apu is appointed as a painter

Apu dances with Jia who faints

He talks about the mysterious girl and Jia is happy

RAD in financial crisis

Ishita promises to kick Jia out of RAD

Update:

Kiran tells Apu that now he has to do some painting. Apu replies that he is a dancer and Kiran says that at the moment he is a painter and tells him that if he argues then there are many walls in this building. She tells him to quickly get the paint brush and paint the studio. He leaves after giving an upset Jia and angry look.

Studio...

Apu is up on a ladder with the paint and gives a sarcastic commentary saying that it's now time to welcome Apoorva who has dreamed of being a painter since childhood and now the dream has finally been fulfilled. Barka comes in and smiles saying that his sense of humour has really improved after the punishment and he has also painted the wall really well – he asks her how she would like it if he throws the paint tub on her head. She apologises and says she's upset for both him and Jia who's very innocent and can do no-one any harm.

Apu turns and says that Jia is not innocent and is instead like a red chilli. Barka says that he looks very cute in his anger and runs away as he threatens her with the paint brush.

Rohan's class...

Rohan is going through some dance steps with two students when Jia comes in looking confused as usual. He gives her some papers and tells her to hand them over to Kiran on his way out. Jia nods but stops at the door to watch the dance steps. Rohan notices her and signals her to leave - she nods and goes but takes sneak peeks from the windows and tries to copy the moves from outside. Just then Kiran is shown walking the corridors as Jia dances and when she notices Jia she asks her whether she was sent to get the papers or clean the windows.

Jia hands them over and Kiran checks them before telling her to file them as well as attend all the calls. Jia nods and leaves with the papers but stops as she starts to feel dizzy. The papers fall on the floor and she bends to pick up them up.

Jia's house...

Sadhna puts some dishes in front of Mahesh and serves him. He starts to eat and compliment the food and smiles as he recognises Dadi's cooking. Dadi comes in and takes a seat next to him as he says he been yearning to eat food made form Dadis hands. Dadi smiles and says that she was also yearning to see his smile and if he promises to smile like this then she'll cook at least once a week.

Sadhna signals something from behind Mahesh and Dadi nods before hesitantly asking Mahesh to take up tutoring of children until he finds some proper work. Mahesh is angry saying that despite his degree he should tutor children. Dadi sends Sadhna to bring the gajar halwa and butters Mahesh up saying that the children will be so lucky to get such a qualified tutor like him. Mahesh becomes thoughtful.

RAD...

Apu is painting as he remembers Kirans words. He thinks to himself that he had come here to dance and not paint. He imagines himself performing and as music plays he dances to 'Sholo Si' like he had done with Jia earlier. Jia walks in and he takes her hand, dancing with her until he realizes it's Jia. They stop and suddenly Jia faints in his arms. Apu becomes worried and tries to wake her but she remains unconscious. Finally he picks her up.

Corridors...

Aou runs to Barka and tells him that he needs her. Barka jokes around saying she knows that he needs her. Apu grabs her hand and pulls her to where he kept Jia. Barka is sitting with Jia's head on her laps as he tells Apu that this is all his fault and he should have at least asked Jia before dancing with her. She gets up to get some water and Apu takes her place, slipping his leg under Jia's head as she asks Barka what happened to Jia. Barka replies that she doesn't know; just then Jia starts to regain consciousness and asks if 'papa came to know'. Barka and Apu look confused.

Later...

Jia drinks some water as Barka asks her if she's okay. Jia nods and Barka signals to Apu who apologises for dancing with her without permission. Jia says it wasn't Apu's fault and she actually fainted cause she hadn't eaten anything. Apu breathes a sigh of relief.

Kiran's room...

Kiran is on the phone with the accountant who tells her that there are some problem with the accounts. According to them, 60% of the budget was spent in the first month itself and now only 40% is left to run the whole year. He adds that RAD is going through a financial crisis as they have very little funds and need to run the rest of the year. Kiran is worried and asks for some sort of solution. The accountant replies that they have to keep the budget tight until the fees arrives. Kiran asks for all the files.

Cafeteria...

Jia, Barka and Apu are sitting around and talking. Apu again apologises to Jia for suddenly dancing with her and says that he's losing it, especially now that he has no dance classes and instead is working as a janitor. He talks about the 'girl' and says that he's damn sure she's somewhere in the academy. Jia looks surprised and gives a shy smile whilst Barka looks a little miffed.

Later Jia leaves the cafeteria dancing and smiling.

She goes in to Kirans room who is frustrated at the mess and tells Jia to call Apu to clean her cabin. She also gives strict instructions that Apu should not touch the papers she put on the desk. Jia is about to go when Ishita storms in and complains that Jia changed Samar's schedule which messed hers up as well. Kiran is no mood to listen and tells Ishita that is the principals office and she doesn't like people walking in like this.

She tells Ishita to leave and wonders what is happening to the academy.

Jia follows Ishita and asks her what the problem is. Ishita replies that Jia is the problem and tells her that she will make her life miserable and will throw her out soon. Poor Jia is confused and doesn't have any idea what she's done wrong.
