I dont think she is introduced in the serial to become a love interest.

She can have others uses beside being Arjun or Ayans girlfriend

I think she will help solve the Maya Death Mystery

If Pooja dies mysteriously for becoming love interest of Arjun, who will plead & get justice to the soul of Pooja? Let her live a long life, after all she is too young to die!
