Claim of Salman returning money is just baseless like most of his previous promises spread by PR team. Article is posted few hour ago.
Salman Khan's Tubelight was touted to be one of the biggest hits of 2017. With a hit combination of Kabir Khan and Salman Khan, Tubelight was expected to break a few records at the box office. But unlike his previous films, Tubelight failed to weave any magic. The film not only got a thumbs down from critics, but from Bhai fans too.
When Salman's film cross the Rs 100-crore mark within three days of their release, Tubelight failed miserably in reaching that mark in almost a week. And with each passing day, the numbers are only deteriorating.
And if a report in Mid-Day is to be believed, the distributors of Tubelight are asking for a refund from actor Salman for all the losses incurred to them.
A distributor, on the condition of anonymity, told the daily, "Salman's films can collect Rs 100 crore in three days, but this time, Tubelight reached the three-figure mark after a week. Single screen owners in small cities have suffered the most, with many incurring losses of over Rs 1 crore. The total loss amounts to Rs 40-50 crore."
The source added, "This is the first time we have faced such a situation. The distributors are hopeful that Salman will pay off their damages."
Meanwhile, Salman is busy shooting for Ali Abbas Zafar's Tiger Zinda Hai.
Salman should focus on helping first rather then spreading the news of helping first.
