Despite their demanding schedules, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra consistently support each other. During an appearance on the Zach Sang Show, Jonas discussed Chopra's upcoming film, "Varanasi." He shared, "Priyanka has been shooting one (movie) for 14 months, on and off. It’s a South Indian film with S.S. Rajamouli, who directed RRR, his last movie. This is his next big film; it’s going to be incredible.” Jonas expressed his admiration for Indian cinema, highlighting the numerous exciting projects on the horizon.

Nick praises Indian music industry

In the same interview, Jonas also praised Indian music, stating, “There’s so much great music in India and Indian cinema.” He mentioned the impact of item songs, which "make people dance and turn the film into a celebration."

During the interview, Jonas praised the melodies in Indian songs, finding them incredible. He noted that actors often lip-sync to singers, with composers specializing in creating cinematic hits. "That’s something so inspiring to me," he said.

Priyanka’s presence in Varanasi

Discussing Chopra's Varanasi, he highlighted her return to Indian cinema. The film, directed by S.S. Rajamouli, stars Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran, with Chopra reportedly playing Mandakini. The movie is expected to be released in April 2027.

The musical comedy film "Power Ballad" starring Nick Jonas and Paul Rudd, directed by John Carney, is set to release on June 5, 2026. The movie follows the story of a past-his-prime wedding singer and a fading boy-band star who collaborate on a song with comedic consequences.
