Chapter Twenty Eight
Dev & Sona walked into Jay's cabin behind him, settling down on his chair he signaled the two of them to take the seats opposite to him...as both remained mum, Jay decided to initiate the conversation, aaj jo kuch bhi tum dono ne Tina ke saath kiya hai woh......Dev didn't allow him to complete the statement and butted in...humne kuch nahin kiya Dad, woh Tina hi apni lambi si naak humare mamle mein ghusa rahi thi...use kya jaroorat hai yeh janne ki, ki main kahan jaata hoon, kisse milta hoon, kya karta hoon...yeh meri personal life hai and she's got nothing to do with it......he sternly declared...aapko agar meri baataon pe yakeen nahin hai toh aap Sona se pooch lijiye......he nudged a lost in thoughts Sona to speak as all she could do was merely nod in agreement.
"Dev, main baap hoon tumhara, koi chota baccha nahin...tumhe kya lagta hai mujhe yeh sab samajh mein nahin aata?...mera muh mat khulwao tum dono, lekin main sab jaanta hoon...poora andaja hai mujhe ki tum dono ne Tina ko......he stopped midsentence as an embarrassed Dev and Sona clutched each other's hands...yeh office hai beta, yahaan yeh sab karna kya accha lagta hai?...tumhare apne office mein theek tha, tumhare cabin mein CCTV camera nahin laga hai...lekin yahaan ke har room mein CCTV fit kiya gaya hai...kam se kam yeh sab karne se pehle yeh to soch liya hota ki agar kisi aur ne yeh sab dekh liya hota to kya hota...bass yehi izzat reh gayi hai hum dono families kii...isiliye maine kahan tha tumse ki apne office mein sabko sach bata do...tumhe andaaja bhi hai ki Tina ko kya lagta hai...use lagta hai ki tum apni biwi ko cheat kar rahe ho Sona ke saath hokar...aur tum dono bhi koi mauka nahin chodte uska yeh shak sach sabit karne ka... I'm ashamed of you two......he shook his head in dismay as Sona was on the verge of crying on getting scolded by her Father-in-Law...Dev squeezed her hand and assured her that he will set everything right, as he turned to talk to his Dad.
"Dad main bhi iss sab se thak gaya hoon, par main kya karoon? Papa Sona ko mere saath bhejne keliye tayyar nahin hai...aur mujhe uske saath sirf office mein hi waqt bitana padta hai...ab mujhe kya pata tha ki baat itni badh jayegi?......Jay signaled him to stop as he turned towards Sona...Sona bete, aap apne cabin mein jayiye...mujhe Dev se akele mein baat karni hai...jaane se pehle woh aapse milkar jayega......Sona held on to Dev's hand a little hesitantly as Dev blinked his eyes to assure her everything will be fine...he coaxed her to get back to her cabin, as he got back to his conversation with his dad.
"Dev, beta min samajh sakta hoon, shaadi ke baad ka yeh waqt aisa hi hota hai...sabki jindagi mein yeh phase aata hai...meri aur tumhari maa ki jindagi mein bhi aaya tha...Asha bhabiji aur Bijoy bhi isse gujar chuke hain...humese koi tumhe blame nahin kar raha hai beta...bass mera yeh kehna hai ki yeh sab accha nahin lagta...tum Sona ko ghar le aao, phir dekhna saari pareshani khatam ho jayegi...uss bacchi ko uski sahi jagah bhi milegi aur tumhe bhi uske saath waqt bitane keliye yoon chori chupe apne office se nikalna nahin padega...tum samajh rahe hona?......he questioned Dev, as Dev nodded his head affirmatively.
"main papa se baat karunga Dad... I hope woh samajh jayenge......Dev got up to leave as Jay called him back...jaate jaate woh CCTV footage delete kar dena...main nahin chahta ki mere bete ka apni patni keliye pyaar poora office dekhe......Dev passed on a sly smile as Jay smirked enjoying this teasing session...after deleting the CCTV footage, Dev moved into Sona's cabin to bid her good bye before leaving.

Sona who had got back to her cabin after their counseling session, was hell of a worried...she wondered what all Jay must be telling Dev, so much so that they had to send her out...she was lost in her thoughts as the beeping of her cell phone caught her attention...she realized she had not looked into her phone messages since last evening...pulling out the phone from her bag she decided to check her messages before putting it for charging...swiping the screen she opened her whatsapp as she was shocked to see the messages from an unknown number...it contained a video recording from Dev's parking lot where they had almost made out yesterday, with a caption...two love birds caught in some serious action, her pupils dilated out as she realized their private moments were no longer secret, as some intruder had invaded their privacy...as she was about to scroll down to see the further message from the same number, her phone rang with the caller ID displaying the same unknown number which had sent her those messages...her hands shivered as she picked up the call...
"kya baat hai Sonakshi jii...humein toh yeh bilkul nahin pata tha ki parking lot ka istemal aise bhi ho sakta hai...pehle multiplex mein aur ab apne pati ke office mein...kya baat hai...duniya kahaan se kahaan pohunch gayi hai aur hum yahi khade hain...aapke intejaar mein......Sona was about to drop the phone down when she gathered courage and decided to track down the intruder...kaun ho tum?aur chahte kya ho...kyun humara peecha kar rahe ho?...sharam nahin aati tumhe yeh sab karte hue?......she reprimanded him...sabse pehli baat toh yeh ki main aapka subhchintak hoon...aapko chahta hoon...aur peecha isiliye kar raha hoon kyunki main aapko uss Dev ke saath nahin dekh sakta...aur rahi sharam ki baat, toh jab aap dono ko yeh sab sareaam karte hue sharam nahin aayi toh bhala mujhe yeh record karne mein kyun aaye?...he laughed wickedly into the phone as Sona cut the call and threw her phone aside.
She was about to move out of her cabin to look out for Dev as she saw him entering her cabin...without giving it a second thought she flung herself into his arms to get the much needed solace...Dev who thought her actions to be a reflex of their conversation with Jay, patted her head to console her...relax Cheeku, sab theek hai...Dad ne gussa nahin kiya...woh toh bass mujhe samjha rahe the ki mujhe tumhe jald se jald humare ghar le aana chahiye...main soch raha tha ki jald hi Papa se baat karunga......he hugged her tightly as she held onto him for her dear life...with the threat call ringing in her mind afresh, she broke the hug to kiss him dominantly as if to transfer all her stress and anxiety to him...he was startled by her sudden gesture but didn't stop her as he knew she was very much in need of this...breaking apart she mouthed a meek sorry to him while panting hard...tumhe mujhe sorry kehne ki jaroorat nahin hai...kabhi bhi...main sirf tumhara hoon Sona...aur tum mujhe kabhi bhi kiss kar sakti ho...aur haan bass kuch dino ki baat hai...uske baad main tumhe ghar le jaunga...tumhe tumhara hak dilaunga...phir humein aise chup chup ke milna nahin padega......he pecked her forehead as he checked his watch and made a move back to his office, not before lightly pecking her lips...main Dev ko abhi kuch nahin bata sakti...woh waise bhi pareshan hai...ek baar sab theek ho jaye phir bata dungi......she decided.

Two days had passed since Dev had met Sona...he didn't gather courage to visit Jay's office to meet her...at the same time he couldn't even go to her place or take her out for a date...Jay had precisely instructed him to avoid meeting in public places while at her place he always had the fear of being caught by Bijoy...he was getting restless with every passing moment...he somehow had to get a glimpse of her before calling it a day today...he decided to sneak into her house late at night once all her family members went to sleep.
Here Sona was getting tensed day by day due to the threat calls and messages she was receiving from an unknown number...she tried tracing out the person, but all she got was dismay as the number turned out to be a private number...she was lying down on the bed starring at the ceiling aimlessly, as sleep was far away from her...Elena had fallen asleep after continuously blabbering for around 2 hours, as she tried her best to lighten Sona's sore mood...she tried to close her eyes and force herself with some sleep as a thud on the window pane forced her to shoot her eyes open in fear...she was scared as hell thinking it might be the intruder who was trying to gain entry into her room...she was about to wake up Elena as she stopped midway as she was Dev jumping into her room through the window...Dev tum yahaan......before she could continue, he reached out to her in quick strides, clasping her mouth with his palm...itni jor se chillaogi to tumhari Kumbakaran behen jag jayegi...main yahaan tumse milne aaya hoon, uski bakbak sunne keliye nahin......he whispered into her ears as a chill ran down her spine each time Dev's lips made a contact with her earlobe.
"chalo mere saath...yahaan hum baat nahin kar sakte..., he spoke snapping her out of her trance...par kahaan?......she questioned him only to earn a devilish smirk from him...before she could realize anything, he pulled her into the washroom and closed the door behind them...caging her between the wall and his arms, he looked into her eyes intently, as she felt her knees going week and giving up...sensing her freeze in her position, Dev moved his one hand from the wall to her cheeks and caressed them with them with the back of his palm...she instantly shut her eyes reeling in the feeling, as he was content looking at the effect his touch had on her...cupping her cheeks he asked...kya inn do dino mein mere Cheeku ne mujhe miss nahin kiya?......she opened her eyes to meet his intense one's but lowered them immediately, not about to meet his piercing gaze...flipping her long eyelashes, she nodded in a yes, as Dev placed a longing kiss on her forehead...maine bhi apne Cheeku ko bohot miss kiya......he enveloped her in a bear hug as she encircled onto him all shy.
Breaking their hug he pecked her eyes, nose and cheeks alternatively as she kept her eyes closed, absorbing the butterfly effect in her stomach, a smile always adorning her face...Sona, May I?...he questioned her before going further as she was overwhelmed that being her legally wedded husband, he still was considerate enough to seek her approval...what a drastic change from the fateful Indore night...she thought...she passed a coy smile to him as he took it as an approval from her...tracing his hands over her arms, he lifted her palms to his lips and pecked them lovingly...she pushed herself more into the washroom wall so as to support her faltering figure...moving his hands over her robe knot he teased her as she gasped out loudly, realizing she needs to be silent so as to not wake up her cousin...opening the knot he let the robe slide down her shoulder, as she stood there in her spaghetti strap night ware, creating a havoc in his raging hormones...bending down to her height he placed wet kisses all over her neck upto her shoulders, as her hands invariably moved to his shirt buttons...he smirked against her skin as he realized what she was upto.
Unbuttoning his shirt, she slid it down his masculine torso, as her hands roamed at their own accord over his vested body...he continued peppering her with kisses from her right shoulder to her left one, not leaving out the area a little above her cleavage...she embraced him tightly as he bit and sucked her over her left collarbone, as she dug her fingers into his arms and kissed him on his neck to suppress her moans, as her fingers entangled into his hair, and caressed his nape...she was astonished to find herself getting wetter down there as she felt Dev hardening, while his body pasted onto hers effortlessly...things would have progressed further lest Elena wouldn't have woken up from her beauty sleep looking out for Sona.
"Sona kahan hai tu?...washroom mein hai kya?...teri tabiyat to theek haina?...chal bahar aa jaa, so jaa Sona...tension lene se kuch nahin hoga...chalo be a good girl and come out......she refused to go back to sleep while Sona panicked inside the washroom, as Dev banged his head against her shoulder...yaar tumhari iss cousin ki problem kya hai...na khud soti hai naa dusro ko chain deti hai...yeh yahaan aayi hi kyun?...he let out his frustration as Sona clasped him mouth with her palm so that Elena shouldn't realize she was with him in the washroom...Dev dheere baat karo...Elena sunn legi......she warned him as she spoke to Elena...Ele tu so jaa, main thodi der mein aati hoon...aur main theek hoon...bass thoda uneasy lag raha tha toh muh dhone chali aayi......she hoped Elena would listen to her and go back to sleep...pakka na Shona?...main soo jaau na?......she cross questioned her as Dev whispered this time frustrated...haan so jaa Kumbakaran, jab dekho humare romance mein apni taang adati hai...stupid kahinki......Sona couldn't stop herself from admiring her cute annoyed husband...haan Ele tu so jaa, main aa jaungi......she spoke with a great difficulty while suppressing her giggle.
"bass do aur din Cheeku pie...phir main tumhe yahaan se le jaunga...phir hum tum ek kamre mein band honge...aur koi bhi humein disturb nahin karega...phir tumhe kaun bachayega?..., Sona blushed at his cheesy comment and pecked his cheek before putting on her dismantled robe, while he wore his shirt back...peeking out of the washroom she checked if Elena was asleep...finding her snoring off soundly, she pulled Dev from the washroom and pushed him out of the window...waving a good bye to him she closed the window back as he drove back to his place...slipping under the duvet she drifted off to sleep as all her tensions seem to have vanished in a second.

As Dev entered Dixit Niwaas, flipping the keys on his forefinger, whistling merrily, Jay stopped him from proceeding...kahaan se aa rahe ho beta?...bade khush lag rahe ho?...agar main sahi samajh raha hoon toh Sona se milkar aa rahe ho...haina?...he teased his son as Dev avoided looking straight into his eyes and made a quick dash to his room, all embarrassed...Jay was content to see his son happy with Sona, but he feared Bijoy's reaction incase he got to know about this...mujhe Bijoy se baat karni hogi...isse pehle ki use kahin aur se pata chale...mujhe iss situation ko handle karna hoga......he pledged to unite the two much-in-love souls at any cost...
