I highly doubt that at this point would Aamir like to do a film that is a copy of a failed HW film. But with Aamir his films work because he makes sure that there is something new and inspiring to take away from the film and with his performance, so yes may be the film would have performed well with Aamir, but cannot say because even though film flopped it made 100 crs because of salman only.
