Could Amir have saved Tubelight

I don't know about acting but what Aamir would have brought to table is his script sense. He would have taken back seat and forced Kabir to pick a younger protagonist while he played Zsu Zsu role (of course it would have received more attention). Some half an hour of movie would have been cut to make it crisp. And instead of Sohail, there would have been some one talented going out on war and asked Kabir to show some brutality of war instead of candy floss scenes. 😊

no. It's not about the star, its the story that fails to impress audiences. If the script is dull none will go to hall to just see ur acting.
Tubelight 's failure is Not coj of Salman. people has started to value the script no matter who is there in the cast. and I m happy for that

Someone had asked the same for FAN too before. My answer is the same here also. Aamir would have never taken up the the movie in the first place.

Maybe his performance would have been lauded by the critics at the very least.

Aamir is very smart. He wouldn't have chosen such a weak script.

Aamir will research as heck and will spend time in preparation. Especially the military scenes will be more authentic. Most of all Aamir will cast for the movie. He has a talentless brother called Faisal but Aamir will not cast him like Bhai did Sohail. He surrounds himself with talented people like Sakshi Tanwar for Dangal from TV or Kajol for Fanaa. His movies works because he puts in the effort to make it work.

Even if he did he would have made some major changes
His acting would have been far better and got praised

Leaving Dabang and BB all recent movies of salman has been remake super hit movies down south so if it had not work in hindi belt serious questions had been raised on sallu but it became hit so one can say he delivered hit which was already hit somewhere else before he was brought in 4 hindi audience
