Would Raj actually fill Sakshi's parting with sindoor?

I know that this must seem like an obvious question

Let me explain myself

We know that Raj takes pheras and all that with the girl he considers to be Sakshi but would he actually complete the marriage by filling her maang? Think about it. Would he even want to complete the ceremony in Preet's absence? Even if Preet stood by and witnessed it all, would he be able to do it?

I don't know the answer myself. Before the bride swap was confirmed, I was hoping against hope that Raj would just call the wedding off because he couldn't do it. I was hoping that Preet would be standing by the mandap, keeping a perfect smile on her pretty face while Raj prepared to marry Sakshi in front of her. I was hoping that by looking at Preet standing right next to him, next to the mandap where he was going to marry someone else, would make something in him just snap and stop things before he passed the point of no return. I was hoping that he would have enough humanity left in him to call the wedding off and prove that he does respect SD by not marrying her when he knows he could never make her happy. This bride swap just ruins things for me, TBH.

Honestly? I don't know. At this point, I think Raj is pretty desperate. He knows he loves Preet, but he doesn't have any respect for women. Neither his mother,nor Preet nor Sakshi. So all in all I think he would force himself to marry Sakshi just to show Preet and humiliate her. His male ego would get a boost to see Preet humiliated and crying.

Even I would have preferred your kind of scenario where Raj waits for weakness and crying and all Preet does is to smile. It would have been better if they were not in love. Preet agreeing to marry Raj just to save him from Amba. That would have made for an interesting watch.

Raj's ego would have shattered then.

When that promo of Preet marrying Raj to save him from Amba came out, I thought that RajPreet would get married before she told him she loved him. I fully expected Preet to save Raj from Amba, settle down in the Friend's Corner, and then tell him that the only reason she married him (filled her maang with his blood) was to save his life on grounds of friendship rather than love. I wonder how Raj's revenge would have played out if this happened. Preet would still love him but he wouldn't know that. Would things have been different or the same? Whatever the outcome, I would've rather watched this than the torture we've been put through in the last two months. I still don't understand why Preet couldn't pretend that she didn't love Raj. She would have at least retained some self respect this way.

Raj & preet both are behaving like a stubborn kid...they can do anything to get whatever they wants... if they won't stop behaving like this.. then neither rakshas nor rajpreet will happen
