There were so many things wrong with this awful analogy/example for feminism/modernism/liberalism/empowerment all wrapped into 11 minutes of morally reprehensible argument by the parents and the daughter.

Oh my god, NO, fighting against women suppression, centuries of patriarchy doesn't equal- let me prove a point to all the men in this world that my body is my choice by becoming a po*nstar. Clearly, RGV thinks there is no other way to do it.

This stupid movie just ended up glorifying po*nstars as people who are fighting against the patriarchal system where they are taught to 'save themselves' for their husband who gets entertainment from it and expects women to be just child rearers.
Dude, people become po*nstars for the money, if they are happy ofc I agree no one should judge them to the point of being hateful. They are humans, so they shouldn't be treated with disrespect because of their career choice. But ye kya bakwas analogy thi that close-minded people are the ones who don't accept it as a career?

If I tell my parents I want to become a po*nstar no matter how liberal, open and accepting they are obviously they will be shocked and hurt. Genuine human reaction. What if someone's kid says "Hey dad I wanna become a terrorist cause I want power"...who'd be okay with that?
LOL and that girl in this movie says "I will let my kids choose for themselves what is right and wrong"...oh gee morals are self-taught? It is a wrong connotation that parents should let their young kids decide for themselves what is morally right, dare you to try to correct them or help them you are backward. 😳

I see people are taking this 'my choice' deal too far now by misconstruing the concept, hence totally negating the real efforts towards women empowerment and our rights.

I am going to use my sexuality for money so you better deal with it cause #feminism.
