Where do we go from here? [Analysis/Discussion]

With the upcoming separation track, I'm going to give up on false bravado - I've already got the tissue box at hand. But, we can't change it, so we may as well go along for the ride right? I know its hard, but lets just trust Gul and Harneet to make this track flourish that's the most that we can do.

So while I'm trying to be positive (and trying to increase forum activity on this drab Sunday!), I have some questions about this separation and one huge one.

After the lapse, where do we go? Who do we meet?

Sorry for that vague af moment, I was trying to amplify the drama! :/ What I actually meant was, three months after the separation, where are our beloved characters going to be? And not just Shivaay and Annika, but the family, as well as each of the other siblings' relationships.

Let's start with the one I'm most confused about, shall we? Does anyone have any idea what Shivaay will be like 3 months from now? I know that Gul has already hinted at the fact that ShivIka will be back with their tashan after the leap so does that mean that we're supposed to believe that Shivaay will become the dicky June 2016 version of himself again? Or, will he become the Shivaay that every single one of the authors who wrote separation track stories, have typed him as? A recluse reckless, broken and melancholic?

I know that I want him as the latter (because come on, the guy has been in control of himself, his relationship, and his family, for 300 episodes I want to see him pine for her!) but I have a hunch that he's going to return to his SSO roots, and blast everyone and everything in his path.

I also think that after he does re-meet with Annika, even after he finds out the complete truth of what happened 3 months before the guy's going to be shit pissed. I mean, he does have a point. Under pressure, or not, Annika makes a conscious choice to sacrifice their relationship, for his obsession with NKK. I sense a blast here, you all.

Now, onto the lady in question where does Annika go, again? Didn't Shivaay sell her house off? Isn't she currently jobless? Does she take Sahil with her, or does she leave her brother under the Oberois' care? I know that most separation track stories that I have read have Annika going back to her job and becoming extremely successful in her field, without having a psycho mother-in-law and a moody husband on her heels but this is 3 months, you guys. The best that I see her doing, realistically, is getting another job, or setting the foundations for a new business. The only other thing I see her doing, that works with the current and future storyline, is getting a job in Additi x Ankit's company. That way, everyone ties into the storyline and we see the introduction of the two newbies, as well.

Third question, how do they meet again? Only one theory here, everyone. If we go by the Annika working in Additi x Ankit's company, then Shivaay meets them through a business deal. Psycho Additi falls in love with him, and the rest is history. I don't know, man I'm just really against the new entries. The only other way I see them coming back into each other's vicinity, is if Annika is hired as an event planner, to plan Additi and Shivaay's wedding. Dear god, please save us all.

And what about the other characters?

IB and DBO just synced are they really going to push one forward 3 months, and leave the other one, as is? That makes absolutely no sense, whatsoever and if that does happen, it means that in the future, DBO is going to have to make up for the lost time. So, if they both take a leap together where does that leave the other show? Unless Gauri decides to leave too? It's not actually a bad idea, you guys. Imagine, post-leap, Shivaay and Omkara take turns in being angry x depressed, while Rudra prances around with his ACP-mistress, in the background.

What about Pinky the Psychopath? Is she going to be super sulky, post-leap as well? Or (dear god, I will genuinely break my TV screen if she does do this) will she be looking for another wife for Shivaay? Or maybe, she'll have another cat fight with Kamini. God knows, and no one cares, as long as she takes a break from the bitchiness. Dear CVs, maybe she can go on a vanvaas?

And so, where does this leap leave Ishqbaaaz? Are we just going to have to watch PriVeer take up the brunt of the SS for the time being, or will the other couples be there as well? I would love to see Annika and Shivaay adjusting in their new lives for at least a week (because we now how fast the show can move at times) before they meet again.

Last question can we please, please, get to know Additi x Ankit's names by now? God knows, its been a while.

Since all of the questions you have asked stem from logic and need perfectly clear, simple logical explanations.. I really don't think they just as even crossed Gulneet's minds.. cos clearly they are two very very illogical people hellbent on churning out an even illogical story to ruin Shivika..
Moving on from my sad rant about my Shivika's separation 😭 I think they ideally should fill in all those gaps to make it believable.. atleast a tad bit.. although believing that Annika walked away and Shivaay let her.. is still totally out of character for the both of them..
Coming to Shivaay.. I think he will become this SSO again.. but only from the outside.. when actually he will just be sad and melancholic and pining for her like this madly in love husband that he is..
what he shows to the world is one thing.. but the changed Shivaay that he has become.. he will remain the same in the confines of his heart and loneliness and in his incessant tears for her.. that won't go anywhere.. I am sure.. cz it seems logical after the growth that he has had.. but then this is Gulneet we are talking about and they don't have brains in there.. just like SSO put it once for Annika "Aur, tumhare sar mein dimag nhn hai.." .. inke sar mein bhi nhn haii.. 🤣
