Though there is clearly no logic with the fact that samay was stalking Maya for past 8 years, but there is definitely a logic to the past revealed.
Earlier it was shown that Maya went through a horrible childhood that made her cold and bitter...still there was no specific reason as to why she was so obsessed with arjun and what is so special about arjun only.
The reason seems quite evident now, not only childhood but her teenage years were exploited as well.
Before physically exploiting her Rajeev said that "don't get me wrong, I am in love with you" and she desperate for love all her life, tried to find in him.
What happened later on is a mystery, but one thing is clear to me, arjun is indeed very special if we observe from maya's point of view.
From viewers point he did nothing much than just once saving her from her dad.
But if we connect both the past lives of maya being physically, mentally and sexually exploited by everyone who came in her life, arjun was like a wind of fresh air.
She observed his caring nature towards colleagues, maya's mom, his innocence while he was enjoying the rain with kids, his commitment to help Maya find the thief, his acceptance of his mistakes and Bearing all the punishment by himself, his efforts to celebrate maya's birthday.
I feel these little gestures and efforts are enough for a girl to fall in love who has been a victim of harassment all her life.
Later on her obsession towards him by not willing to share him with anyone, not even his family, does make sense to me now...after watching yesterday's episode.
I am still confused and in two minds whether to hate Maya or like her, the crimes she commited cannot be ignored, in fact there is no turning back.
I know most people will disagree on how can Maya's obsession make sense, but I just shared what I felt today.
