She reels with the facts(or lies), Pinky even threatens to reveal it to Shivaay, and it's Annika who begs her not to hurt Shivaay. This confused me a little. What is up with Pinky? Is she crazy? Is the need for Shivaay to inherit so important that she can forsake his happiness ?

Annika is now crying for him, forgetting how she was just humiliated and court martialled by Shivaay in front of everyone to see. She cries for his pain, for the betrayal he would taste, for the unfairness thrust upon someone who valiantly and selflessly serves this House. Such unfair ugliness in his life.

He sees her, The pain in her eyes calls out , he is drawn to wipe her tears. But he could find the strength to walk away. Poignant and ironic, he will always find the strength to walk away from her when it comes to his family. Stark truth: she hasn't reached that status for him. Almost, but not quite. It is sad and unfortunately it is only when she is gone that he might see what having her in his life really meant.
I am ok with the separation because, as I said, sometimes we need to distance ourselves from someone to actually start thinking clearly.
Annika around is giving Pinky the chance to keep Shivvay muddled and constantly reacting to stimuli being placed before him. She is not letting him think. When he is alone with Annika all he can think of is how badly he behaved and those thoughts consume him making him focus on that relationship.
Where does the man have a moments peace to figure out what exactly is going on!!

So separation and breathing space is good but not the long drawn out one and definitely not with his ex walking in as his wife walks out. Gul Neet have already ruined Rudy for me. Shivvay being slithered upon by his ex while his wife is away - playing the helpless abla naar- will be to gross to watch. That is not fit the commitment that the man has shown in all his relationships.

Separation should be mature and handled with the due respect that Shivika as a couple have earned for themselves. An amicable separation where they both discuss and decide to give each other 'x' number of weeks to sort things out in their heads in order to bring this relationship back on track. Not the dramatic - throw her out of the house crying and humiliated crap that the writer seems to thrive on.
A separation dignified enough for the wife of Shivvay Singh Oberoi - an Oberoi Bahu. He drives her to her home and makes sure she has settled in with the right security in place and the right luxuries that she is due as his wife.
He maintains phone contact with her as a husband should to ensure she is safe and not lonely and maybe even requests Gauri to spend a few days with her as her sounding board.
Who better than another Family Bahu to discuss Family matters with.
But I know that this mature approach does not have the 'shock value' that they want. The other woman is always fascinating for the TRP aunties.

He goes to his sister. The one who dumped her whole family and eloped with her tormentor. His obsessed attention has won her over and she is drawn like a moth to the flame. Shivaay sweet talks his sister into eating, as no one has eaten because she hasn't. BooHOO.

He is like a father here, she pleads him to give Ranveer one chance to prove himself worthy. SHivaay is already sorting him mind out for her happiness. So generous of him.

Gauri finds a sad Annika , still reeling with what she learnt. She is such a positive presence, drawing Annika out with her favourite topic, Oberoi brothers. She cribs about their anger, and temper, and Annika refutes them all. The brothers are lovely people, you haven't seen their good sides. You're so wrong about Om. And Shivaay, is Sweet Singh Oberoi to me.

(it struck me how Annika's is the only mangalsutra among the 4 seen so far that has 3 stones in them, the others have only one.) If I am not mistaken Gauri is wearing Sumya's. Sorry to disappoint you there .. I don't think it is of significance 😕

Gauri suddenly tosses her into the pool, as Om is tasked to bringing Shivaay to her rescue. Shivaay runs there and watches her flapping in the chest deep pool, having lost her footing.

He jumps in and pulls her up. His gruff concern is back and he checks for injuries, as RiKara celebrate their plan success.

"What happened today.."

"Everything that happened is my fault right, Shivaay?"

It clawed at him. Her silent deep hurt. You can see the regret in his face. She walks away, no tears no drama. He can't bear her walking away. He grabs her hand and stops her, he turns and finds her face still turned away.

Look at me Annika. Never turn away from me. I still cannot understand how he is going to let her walk out of his life. I know that a situation will be created -that much is clear but how will he 'breathe when she is gone?' .. meri saasen ruk jati hai will feel very real that day to him

Yes, Annika focus on him. The problems will sort itself out, you don't need to do anything, it's not your mess.

He pulls her back to him. He is very possessive of her, he is not one to share. Slightly selfish and unfair, he demands her full loyalty and attention, yet he is free to hurt her. He grabs her hand and twists it to remind her of their past, how they are.

She winces with the pain, bites her lips. Oh she is feeling Dard, now. The sight makes him swallow hard, and his face tenses with desire. 😳 Too hot today .. the pool was on fire ..lol

He twists her hands further and she closes her eyes and leans on him. (WOw the water in that pool must have heated up right then, steam would be wafting out soon.)

this here is a complicated man. He does not show weakness to anyone. But he shows it to her, only her, at times to his brothers. She will be the facing the brunt of his frustrations many times ahead, it is the price to pay with such a man. Doesn't excuse it though, just it won't change so quickly. But he will try hard to change. Even as she stops his apology with a finger to his lips, he will already vow not to repeat it again within himself.

That pool scene is not over. The setting is beautiful, magical and the essence of Shivika. Water, passion, love, anger, tadi all there. I have a feeling some feelings with spill on Monday.
I am hoping that 'dil ki dhadkan teez ho jati hai ' like dogs chasing me happens 😆

I can totally see Annika trying to push him away, and finding him more determined to keep her close. Pinky's 3 day ultimatum is going to fail because of Shivaay only.. Going to be a fun week ! or not.

I agree. Today I would have bent too but there were times in the past where I would have at least have her mention to him how much it hurt

i hated when he walked away initially - its fine he is showing his anger but they could have shown some flinch when he did that (not visible to anika but may be just to us- you know what i mean) Same here and that is why I said a bit of distance is needed to pull at these strings that bind them.
Kinda like an elastic band. When you pull each end away from the center and then let go the distance you pulled it is equal to the force at which the return to each other. ShivIka need to breathe and this toxic environment is not contributing positively to the relationship.

i also think the room decortion is probably done by gaurika and not billu ji himself and itna forward itni jaldi - seems like a parody mode on for me. i have been saying this all along - physical aspects of relationships are healthy not unhealthy as indian dramas portray but yeh toh ajeeb so flip tha for me. i will wait till monday and comment

PS: Love gaurika especially when they were standing behind that closed door with a thumbs up sign, sooo sooo adorable they looked. gauri especially looked very pretty

PPS: not watched the pinky horror show and not going to watch it either. my take is based on written updates. i think there is a surrogate story or an ex wife story of shakti who probably passed away and pinky is his second wife but kamini played her. duffer toh pinky hai hi as as asya pointed out to me that sso cant be illegitimate though i still think they might have changed it to this to grab eye balls now and can easily justify that he still has NKK due to shakti - patriarchy nd dakyanoosi khayals after all

But previously Annika at least even if a little gave it back to him.
Now it's just like "Yes Shivaay insult me then apologize , I will always be waiting"
Annika Show him your Value and even that arrogant family of his (except some) needs to know your worth.
