Yep. Gul like all the other producers invest all their time and money for the shows to succeed so they show what will get them an audience.

When did I compare Ranveer to anyone? I said that Priveer is a way more extreme version of Shivika. We didn't see Ranveer's love because he's a side character. If he was the male lead, they would've definitely shown something to justify his actions as they do with most MLs. Same goes for Priyanka. They don't have time or patience to deal with side characters so things got really stupid really quickly. Forget side characters, Omkara and Rudra are leads but barely got enough screen time before DBO came along. Even in DBO, Rudra and Saumya got no screen time which led to disaster.
I'm going to stop talking about sidelining. It's going off topic.

She said the brothers did well online and were number on hotstar but that was when had low TRPs according to SP (1.7-1.8 range) because it didn't work with the TRP audience hence the warnings from the channel. That's why they switched to Shivika romance and it worked. You should read her interview as well as that other producer's interview because it provides a lot of insight on how tv serial work. The end game is all about results.

As for Ranveer, I don't think he was originally was supposed to be this gross and evil, but I noticed that the stories are switched mid-way. Again anything for TRPs 😆

Personally, I think along with demands that the channel gives them, their inability to explore multiple stories and the pressure of writing for multiple shows is taking its toll on the writers and the stories. Gul needs to hire more writers.

Damn TRP aunties. It's sad that they like OTT saas-bahu-separation-divorce-remarriage-revenge-sautan-pregnancy-kidnap-murder-positive to negative-negative to positive-new entry every week-bad guys never go jail and always return tracks. Did I miss anything?
