Anika fell for Shivaay after he forced her into marriage by kidnapping Sahil and threatening his life. Now the Shivika fans will bash me. I know that Anika had feelings for Shivaay before they got married but still. I actually have two little brothers and if the man I loved kidnapped and/or threatened to kill them, all of my feelings for him would die then and there.

There were a lot of misunderstandings. Forget about the Daksh MU, he did think she made his second bride back off on the wedding. The kidnapping stunt, he dropped very low that day no doubt. I can understand why she forgave so easily, but personally if I was in Anika's shoes I would not have forgiven Shivaay so easily. One, I would not have even moved into his house. Two, I would have let him do all the chasing after me (after all the MU's cleared) and then maybe finally forgive him 😛

As for PriVeer, their relationship is just a more extreme version of Shivika's. How you can still feel something for someone who tried to kill your family members is honestly beyond me. It's just astounding. Even if Ranveer tortures Priyanka after their marriage, they'll be all lovey dovey like Shivika within six months. Might even take them less time since there's no misunderstandings between them. Whatever.

Agree! What Shivaay did was still redeemable since he never actually intended to harm Sahil for real. Ranveer on the other hand is a nut case. Priyanka is so dumb. I hope she moves out eventually so her problems dont fall on Shivika to take care of. I still dont understand how she fell for him. She seems to be one of those weak girls who fall for guys within seconds of them showing her some care or interest... like Dev.

Returning to the point of my post... why? Just why? Is there nothing else left to show on Indian TV? Is everything just about revenge and misunderstandings? Does no one else here feel uneasy when they think about the fact that Anika fell for someone who threatened to kill her brother? No need to say anything about PriVeer because I already know how most people feel about that.

Star Plus and Zee will only show shows which have content that will safely get them at least some trps. They dont like to take risks like Colors and Sony. It's all about trps and what pleases the aunties.

Gul even said in an interview that SP warned her several times and then the forced marriage happened. It worked the TRP increased and the show is still running. Gul isn't interested in the online audience because its the TRP audience that keeps the shows going. She should have left a long time ago, but independent and strong FL aren't what the TRP audience are interested in. After marriage everything about the FL disappears and the whole character revolves around the ML, his problems, and his family. They have no life, identity of their own, and no character development. Its the same reason every time Gauri tries to leave someone brings her back to Om then he insults her for not leaving 😆

I can't speak for others but it does bothers me. She won't ever leave or stand up for herself because the writers aren't interested in her character.
