If the pre-cap is indeed true, and they show pinky and kamini joining hands, I am going to stop watching Ishqbaaz!
On the good side:
- Shivaay trusts Annika, his faith isn't broken. He didn't believe that annika would do something as heinous as mixing acid in the Mehndi. Unfortunately, he doesn't believe that his mother would do it either. Hopefully, soon his eyes will open to all her nautankis. It seemed to me that other family members weren't taking pinky seriously in anycase, including her husband. They all thought it was all a nautanki and mistake on her part.
- Shivaay and Annika have confirmed that only they can deal with each other, so they are meant to be together. Loved their scene together where he tells her she will always be his wife. At least SSO has started getting romantic on a regular basis! Now if only his brains will wake up and smell the traitor.
- Loved the scene in the beginning. Loved how Shivaay told an embarrassed om and Gauri that it is natural for a husband and wife to hug each other. Loved how he brought Gauri into the fold. Although the Obro and wives scene in the kitchen seemed to abrupt and sudden, it was good to see their bonding. In the times to come, om and Gauri will become the saviour for Shivaay and Annika. This seemed even more likely after the Mehndi debacle when they were both looking worried for Annika. And it seems as though om at least has put his thinking cap on. I am sure he will investigate as to what brought NT into their house.
- I am wondering if anyone will draw a parallel on pinky using nt's reference to accuse Annika. I mean the woman tried to kill you, right?! And suddenly her parting words are so imp.
- While I was glad to see Annika have enough faith in her and Shivaay's relationship to win over pinky, I don't think she had till then realised to what extent pinky is willing to go. Perhaps now she will.
Pinky of course is crossing all limits of decency. She has taken to openly taunting Annika at every given opportunity. And from the pre-cap it seems that this nasty woman will play Shivaay and Annika against each other by using Shivaay's brothers / sister. Seems like she will use prinku coz she's the weak link. So all that drama before Kamini in the market was just that, drama. And here most of thought chalo pinky has a good side also. And the amazing part is this woman has stooped so low that she's conniving and conspiring with the woman who wanted to shoot her son dead to throw out the woman who saved him in that instance. Oh the ironies of life!!
I am hoping Kamini is evil enough to double cross pinky. Use her help and then expose her before the oberois. I have for once no sympathy for prinku. The man tried to make a fool out of you, swindle your family. Instead of taking him to your room, you should have called Shivaay right there and then to thrash Ranveer to pulp. If both these ladies are here to stay without pinky at least getting OMM'd in max a week's time, I think I will quit watching ishqbaaz and perhaps restrict myself to reading fan fictions on IF!
Read a spoiler somewhere that prinku Ranveer wedding will be the reason for Shivaay and annika's separation. Makes all the promises of staying together made by Shivaay to Annika so meaningless if he throws her out without listening to her. Sort of a repeat like the last time with the dev incident. Hopefully he has learnt from his mistakes. Can't wait for pinky's plan to fall flat on its face. Today's did. Shivaay didn't seem to believe Annika would do something like this.
Also, ever since Annika took the bullet for Shivaay, the build up has been about Shivaay realising his feelings for Annika. About him realising what it means to be a husband. And making all those promises to her to be by her side and face difficulties together. So a separation track to me seems to do a oh my mata of the last couple of months. Just doesn't make sense. But then I am trying to find reason in a Hindi daily soap.
Also, does this mean no Mehndi or separate mehndis now that mahasangam is over?!
I skipped over most of Rudra's scenes coz I am not able to take a married man being shown smitten with someone else. Although I must say I liked the version of ACP bhavya better than the sissy being shown earlier. Two two ACPs in the Oberoi khandaan. Ab inka koi kuch nahin bigaad sakta!!
