My take on Mahasangam

First of all... i was much looking forward for the mahasagam as its been long since we saw the entire family in one frame...

1. Gauri entry into the family and bonding with anika shivaay and rudra.. although i would have liked more in depth fun than wedding rituals... something on lines of mallika episodes.. where we could get some youth fun .. party drinking dancing romance etc... the wedding rituals made it damn boring honestly.. a reception with some dance enjoyment would have been ideal over all this ring ceremony and kul gotra and all... even shivaay's multiple wedding previously had more fun episodes comparitively...

2. nayantara track was just dragged all these days.. it was almost like swetlana really.. so unnecessary... before mahasangam they should have finished all these tracks and just focussed on giving us fun aspect of the show than the twists...

3 . rudra lead could have been a part of the OM happenings ... not seperately... they should have promoted the new lead just like they did for gauri.. her entry has been so abrupt.. they never gave a chance for ppl to look forward to it..

4. the MS story is just focussed on shivika life... they should have kept all that aside for the 5 days they dedicated to show all of them together..

anyways m glad they will be back to their DBO set and show soon and we things will be fine.. but the MS has been quite dissapointing honestly..

Honestly I enjoyed the mahasangam.. I loved seeing the cast together.. it reminded me of the old ishqbaaz days.. the show was supposed to be an ensemble cast and I enjoyed that..I like that all 3 brothers story was shown .. shivaay Anila obviously have a lot happening so that was the focus but the omkara gauri story also moved ahead.. she is finally a part of the large oberoi family and we got to see her interaction with the others. The next two days will show some progress in Om and gauri' relationship I think. Gauri and Anika bonding was lovely.. and damn how I loved the obro scenes for me they made the episode. Also Priyanka's story is also coming back and finally rudra's story is also moving ahead.
Most importantly I feel that the mahasangam helped in tying up the timelines and making the stories move to the same timeline. It was really weird having Om doing one thing in dbo and a different thing in ishqbaaz and likewise for shivaay. I look forward to many more mahasangams and the cast coming together in both ishqbaaz and dbo.

I agree.. Naintara should have been wrapped up before MS or just just put on hold...

The focus should have been on oberoi family ... But we got some good scenes too... Hope to get such sangams regularly from now on

I enjoyed the OBro moments, the Gauri and Annika or OBahu moments and also the family drama. Didnt like Naintara nonsense. Less of that would have been good and less of Pinky's vile expressions.

But other than that it had it's good points. The RiKara story does need to move, but I am sure that will happen in the coming weeks on DBO.

Seeing more of Rudra was good, but so far not that impressed with Bhavya. Let's wait and see.
