Tricky question, because with or without deepika this movie is going to bomb! Poor DP just will add more flop item songs to her list.

When the song came out I was not impressed by it barring DP who looked sexy and gorgeous. But it kinda grew on me. I liked the use of tropical house music.

Main tera boyfriend has hit the right note. It's a sure-shot chart buster. But I think they removed the video due to copyright infringement.

Billu and Dum Maaro Dum were not the typical money making movies to begin with. Billu had a simple story (SRK's was just few item songs and a short role) and DMD had AB Jr. They were not the typical masala films. So, an item number can't make them be blockbusters anyway.

And I, for one, liked DP's song in Raabta. The song's choreography has that European resort live singing performance kind of a feeling. The song is good too .. but of course, just the song or DP's performance can't be lucky or a curse for the film's fate. The film itself has to be good.

That boyfriend song was cringeworthy to watch. And I doubt SSR or Kriti has that kind of BO pull to give this film a big opening.

So, I think the film will get an average opening and if the whole crappy re-incarnation theme is well made up then it may get a good word of mouth and might be a hit or something. Otherwise, it is going to tank on the very Saturday.

Ik Vaari Aa , Raabta title track were/are among the top songs on Saavn and also on many radio station's charts but yes Tu mera BF is a defo chartbuster.
