Akansha Ranjan Kapoor dazzles in gold, while Sharan Sharma opts for classic black at Mumbai reception

Days after their wedding, actor Akansha Ranjan Kapoor and filmmaker Sharan Sharma hosted a wedding reception in Mumbai on Sunday, bringing together family members, close friends and several personalities from the film industry. The event marked the couple's first public appearance together after their marriage.

For the evening, Akansha chose a gold embellished floor length gown featuring a fitted bodice with a sweetheart neckline and broad embellished straps. She paired the outfit with a sheer cape style drape, a diamond choker necklace, matching earrings, bracelets and rings. She completed her look with centre parted open hair.

Sharan opted for a black bandhgala suit with a Mandarin collar and matching trousers. He completed his look with black formal shoes, neatly styled hair, a trimmed beard and black rimmed glasses.

Several members of the film industry attended the reception. Among those present were Randeep Hooda, Boney Kapoor, Rakesh Roshan, Sonu Nigam, Neena Gupta, Ashoke Pandit and Roop Kumar Rathod. On the professional front, Akansha was last seen in Gram Chikitsalay Season 2 and is set to appear in the upcoming Netflix film Ikka. Sharan's latest directorial venture was Mr. & Mrs. Mahi, featuring Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles.
