See, this is the thing which is really annoying. Shivaay KNEW that someone from 'inside' was helping Naintara, so a family member and when Pinky comes into light, he goea mad. It's just.. it's inconsitant. I mean out of all the characters, he knows Pinky was the one who disliked Annika after their shaadi, her insistance on the pooja and her constant 'naam, khoon, khandaan' jaap. Will give him the benefit of the doubt because it was all too much but yeah..

I am going to give Shivaay another few days in IB timelines for his brain to start functioning and to get over the shock of what Annika told him. Provided Pinky doesnt win other dirty tricks and puts Annika in a position where Annika comes out looking evil or desperate to blame her MIL!

The writers wanted conflict with this flip and this is all just for TRPs.

May be not about winning an argument, but it definitely was Annika trying to convince Shivaay that what she told him was the reality. And any person would react how Shivaay did. In my view, Annika was apologizing for saying the right thing at the wrong time. She herself told Gauri that she said these things about Pinky before everyone without a thought as to what Shivaay would go through. THat is what she was apologizing for.

Lovely thoughts... I like today's episode for all the intricacies of human emotions.

Me too. I loved the episode for the reality of the situation. I don't think any person (man or woman) would have believed any accusation against their mother in the first go!! And expecting Shivaay to react like a rational man after being thrown this googly is too much. Annika also blurted out what she saw, what she thought, without a care as to who she was talking in front of. It was an extremely sensitive issue, and it should have been handled more thoughtfully.
